Asian Slide (A23Q)
- Print oriental image on vellum
- Stamp Thanks symbol in Lavender Sachet Palette, then Black Memories ink, and heat set to dry
- Layer to white card stock cut the same size as the vellum, then to mauve cardstock with purple eyelets
- Tear the bottom of the mauve, and thread sheer purple ribbon through the eyelets on the right side
- Layer to dark purple 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" card.
- Using finger, rub purple metallic acrylic paint onto slide mount
- Repeat until surface is covered
- When dry, rub a little rose metallic paint on and let dry
- Ink Chinese Newsprint stamp with black and press slide mount onto stamp, lifting carefully
- Attach slide mount with double-sided tape to card, outlining the three Oriental ladies.

Dragon (A24S)
- Cut dark purple cardstock 4 7/8" square and attach to a 5 1/4" square sage speckled card.
- Rub edges with purple inkpad
- Cut three rectangles from olive cardstock - one 4 1/2" x 2 1/8", and the other two 4 1/2" x 1"
- Stamp all pieces with the decorative stamp in gold metallic and in purple ink
- Outline with gold leafing pen and tape to card
- Print dragon clip art on sage cardstock and trim to 2 1/4" x 3 1/4" - outline with gold leafing pen
- Mat to dark purple cardstock that has been outlined with gold leafing pen and attach to card with foam tape
- Glue a flower button in bottom right corner - highlight flowers with gold rub-ons
- Thread 3 purple beads through an eye pin and then thread through an Asian coin - glue to card
- Stamp Oriental design in gold ink in bottom left corner

Collage Thank You (A25H)
- Fold 8 1/2 x 11" olive card stock in half, and stamp Japanese symbol in red ink on bottom and right sides as shown
- Tear font collage paper and tape to dark red card stock, leaving 1/4" border
- Tear red card stock along the same torn edge as the collage paper
- Attach a red eyelet to the top and bottom
- Thread three brass coins on thin olive ribbon, and feed the ends through the eyelets
- Tape the ends of the ribbon on the back, then tape the piece to the olive card, leaving 1/4" border at top and left side
- Rub a piece of grey cardboard with Old Paper Distress Ink
- Dab a TINY bit of red ink in a few places and add a little gold Pearl-Ex
- Sprinkle with UTEE and heat
- While still molten, stamp with Thanks stamp and hold a few seconds until the UTEE hardens. Carefully remove stamp.
- When cool, use a Q-tip to add copper Pearl-Ex to the impressed image
- Mount the tile on red cardstock with foam tape, and attach to card with foam tape
- Glue a small piece of brass tube through a bead and glue the bead on top of the tile
- Glue the coins to the card so they won't slide down the ribbon.

Clay Booklet (A26)
- Roll 2 pieces of pearl sculpey through pasta machine, one a little thinner
- Lay chrysanthemum cane slices on the thinner piece and roll through pasta machine
- Cut front of book from cane piece and back of book from plain
- Punch holes with "anywhere" hole punch
- Print Geisha from dingbat font on laser printer. Lay paper face down onto front of book and rub with acetone soaked cotton ball until image transfers
- Bake 20-25 minutes at 275
- Cut two pieces of white card a little smaller than front and back of book and punch holes to line up with covers
- Sponge pages with purple and pink inks, and stamp assorted Asian themed stamps
- Line up covers and pages and thread pink artistic wire through each hole
- Print fan image and transfer to shrink plastic with acetone
- Punch hole in fan
- Color with chalk and shrink
- Thread onto end of artistic wire; then curl wire

Asian Blocks (A27H)
- Print background using VTMeiOrnaments font (size 20)in peach on a sheet of 8 1/2" x 11" yellow cardstock. (Since my printer will not print to the edges, I trimmed the cardstock to the very edges of the printing before folding in half).
- Cut two pieces of black cardstock to 2" x 4 3/8", and two pieces to 2" x 2 5/8."
- Cut two pieces of dark pink cardstock to 1 7/8" x 4 1/4" and two 1 7/8" x 2 1/2".
- Tape black pieces to card, aligning at top, bottom and sides to make a rectangle, and attach dark pink on top of each black piece.
- Print Hiragana font symbols and Dream symbol from JayCons font (size 187) on peach cardstock with peach ink.
- Trim Hiragana to 1 3/4" x 4 1/8" and Dream to 1 3/4" x 2 1/4."
- Attach both to dark pink rectangles as shown.
- Cut a third piece of peach cardstock to 1 3/4" x 2 1/4" and attach to smaller dark pink rectangle.
- Stamp Chinese Newsprint on a small piece of parchment paper and roll up ends.
- Put a little glue on the edges so they won't unroll.
- Glue parchment to small rectangle, and glue a brass coin on top. (You could use one of the Oriental fonts if you don't have the Newsprint stamp)
- Stamp Fish from Koi Pond set on white cardstock with black ink and black emboss.
- Sponge with apricot and coral pigment inks and trim, cutting around portion of fish that extend beyond the border.
- Attach to last large rectangle with foam tape.
- Attach 4 tiny black brads in corners of this piece.
