Technique: I opened the angel clip art in a graphics program and selected just the angels (not the white background). I then opened the digital music paper and pasted the angels so they would be directly on the music paper.

Snowman (H52Q)

  1. Attach green tree paper to 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" folded white card
  2. Cut pink shimmer cardstock into a triangle and attach at top
  3. Print snowman clip-art, trim, and attach to card with foam tape
  4. Tie pink ribbon in a bow and glue to card
  5. Accent the trees and snowman with glitter glue

Credits: Snowman clip art by Trina - I recolored the background pink to match the card. Based on a card by Susan neal in Holiday Cards magazine

Technique: I opened a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" image in my graphics program (you can also do this in Word). I opened WilliamChristmas3 dingbat font, and typed the letter "x" which gave me the Christmas trees in an uneven pattern on my image. I then printed the trees onto medium green cardstock. Do a test piece first to see how dark of a color to use so the trees look like Versamark. This card didn't scan well - the background is greener, and the trees are less prominent.

Poinsettia Tag (H53)

  1. Cut dark pink cardstock into a tag shape, 5 1/2" x 3"
  2. Tear poinsettia paper and attach to bottom of tag
  3. Print the word JOY and the two holly leaves on text paper. Then, attach twill ribbon to the paper and put back through the printer to print on the ribbon
  4. Attach ribbon to the tag and attach metal label holder on top with green brads
  5. Outline tag with gold leafing pen
  6. Punch hold and tie ribbon in a knot
  7. Lightly ink a white silk poinsettia and attach to top right with brad

Rustic Tree (H54Q)

  1. Print digital striped Christmas paper (or use purchased) and attach a 1 1/2" x 4 1/4" piece to each side of a red 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" card
  2. Type "Merry Christmas" three times in a row using Casablanca Antique font. Duplicate the text so you have two rows, and print on text paper
  3. Attach twill ribbon to cover both rows of text and put paper back into the printer to print onto the ribbon
  4. Attach ribbon to each side of the card, covering the seam of the decorative paper
  5. Cut a diamond of mesh and attach to the center of the card (I used a strip of double-sided tape, and glue to the area that would be covered by the tree)
  6. Attach the metal tree to the card with foam tape
  7. Thread a green star button with twine and glue to the top of the tree
