Embossed Dove Square (H12S)

  1. Cut rectangles from red card stock and gold tissue paper and glue to size S white card stock.
  2. Cut a piece of white card stock with deckle scissors to the size of your stamp
  3. Rub card with clear embossing ink, sprinkle with gold powder and emboss. Repeat 3-4 times.
  4. Ink stamp with gold ink and set aside. Heat card until the embossing powder melts; then immediately press inked stamp into the card, holding in place about 30 seconds. (Melted powder is very slippery - place your stamp carefully and don't let it slide)
  5. Press piece in heavy book; then attach to card with foam dots.
  6. Punch two holes in top of card (front only). Thread sheer gold ribbon through holes and tie in bow.
  7. TIP: my embossing powder cracked, so I carefuly bent the card until I had lots of cracks and it looked like I meant it to be that way! I will try mat board rather than card stock next time to see how that works.
