Holiday Cards - Hannukkah Page 2

Hannukkah 1 (Han1H)

  1. Computer generate dove design and print on holographic paper
  2. Glue to front of size H medium blue card stock
  3. Write "Happy Hanukkah" in silver gel pen at bottom
  4. Computer generate text, using Israeli or Hebrew type font
  5. Cut two strips from holographic ribbon. Glue text to inside card and glue ribbon to top and bottom

    Stamps: None

 

Hannukkah 2 (Han2H)

  1. Computer generate menorah and print on 3" x 3 1/2" white card stock
  2. Cut piece of holographic paper a little larger than menorah and glue card to it
  3. Computer generate menorahs, rotating them as shown, and print on white card stock
  4. Cut into 5 even panels, and glue to size H med. blue card stock, leaving space between each panel.
  5. Glue larger menorah in center.

Hanukkah 3 (Han3S)

  1. Computer generate large menorah and print on white card stock
  2. Cut into four equal pieces, and glue to holographic paper cut a little larger than each piece
  3. Glue holographic pieces to size S dark blue card stock

    Stamps: None

Hanukkah 4 (Han4H)

  1. Stamp diamonds with silver ink on size H dark blue card
  2. Computer generate large menorah and print on white card stock
  3. Cut into four equal pieces, and glue to holographic paper cut a little larger.
  4. Attach to card with foam dots
  5. Computer generate saying on vellum paper on ink-jet printer (NOT laser printer). Immediately sprinkle with silver embossing powder and heat
  6. Trim and attach to card with silver eyelets

    Stamps: Hand Carved Eraser Diamond Stamp I actually cut out five separate diamonds, then glued them to a piece of wood.

Mini-Hanukkah 1 (Han5Q)

  1. Stamp diamonds with silver ink on size Q medium blue card
  2. Computer generate blue menorah design on white card stock and trim, leaving a thin white border
  3. Tape to silver card stock cut a little larger
  4. Attach to card with foam tape

Mini-Hanukkah 2(Han6Q)

  1. Tape holographic paper to size Q medium blue card
  2. Computer generate menorah on white card stock, trim and attach to card with foam tape
  3. Computer generate "Happy Hannukkah" on vellum in blue ink, and attach to card with eyelets

    The holographic paper looks much more silver in person - the scanner picked up a lot of colors that aren't prominent

Dreidle(Han7Q)

  1. Fold navy card to 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" and outline with gold leafing pen
  2. Computer generate Hebrew text on light blue shimmer paper, 3 1/2" x 4 1/4"
  3. Cut in half on the diagonal and attach to card as shown
  4. Print dreidle on self-stick linen paper
  5. Layer to gold metallic paper, then dark blue cardstock
  6. Attach to card with foam tape
  7. Run gold ribbon behind the image and glue ends so it doesn't move

    This card definitely looks better in person. The texture of the linen paper, and the shine of the gold and light blue papers do not show up on the scan.

Non-Traditional Hanukkah Card (Han8L)

  1. Fold purple card to 4" x 9 1/4"
  2. Cut plaid paper 3 5/8" x 6" and attach to top of card
  3. Cut Swirl paper 3 5/8" x 3' and attach to bottom
  4. Computer generate "Happy Hannukkah" on twill tape and attach to card with red liner tape
  5. Staple purple, gold and peach ribbons to square vellum tag
  6. Attach tag to card with foam tape
  7. Computer generate menorah image on vellum, ink edges and attach to tag with vellum tape
