These are quick Christmas cards - all can be made in about 10 minutes






 

 

 

Christmas Plaid (HQ17Q)

  1. Tape plaid wallpaper (or decorative paper) to folded quarter-size burgundy card
  2. Cut a tag shape from burgundy cardstock and outline with gold Krylon pen
  3. Stamp Merry Christmas with clear embossing ink and gold emboss
  4. Punch hole in tag, thread through green raffia
  5. Attach tag to card with foam tape

Split Tree #2 (HQ18Q)

  1. Cut three shapes from light green cardstock to form abstract tree
  2. Cut three smaller shapes from plain wallpaper (or decorative paper) and tape to green pieces
  3. Outline quarter-size folded green card with gold Krylon pen and tape tree pieces to it
  4. Glue a piece of string to the front, and glue a button at the top

Firstborn (HQ19Q)

  1. Computer generate Christmas scene on white cardstock, trim and tape to folded quarter size red card
  2. Computer generate text from Luke in red ink on vellum, tear edges and rub with cranberry ink pad
  3. Attach verse to card with red eyelets

4 Christmas Symbols (HQ20Q)

  1. Computer generate images on white cardstock and cut out (the green border is part of the image)
  2. Layer to red cardstock and tape rectangles to a folded quarter-size green card
  3. Attach a small red bow with E6000 glue

Split Tree #1 (HQ21Q)

  1. Layer dark red cardstock to folded quarter-size sage green card
  2. Cut a piece of self-adhesive spackling tape (or Magic Mesh) to card
  3. Cut a "trunk" from brown card stock and tape to card
  4. Cut four shapes from decorative paper to make an abstract tree, and tape to card
  5. Cut a star from gold metallic cardstock and tape to top of tree

Christmas Tag (HQ22Q)

  1. Outline a folded quarter-size dark green card with gold Krylon pen
  2. Use preprinted tag from Paper Pizazz Tag Art book, cut out and outline with gold pen
  3. Punch hole in top of tag and thread gold embroidery thread through
  4. Attach to card with foam tape

    Stamps: None

Heart Tree (HQ23Q)

  1. Computer generate heart tree using olive ink on sage cardstock
  2. Trim and layer to a folded quarter-size olive card
  3. Cut one heart from red cardstock and attach to card with foam tape
  4. Cut a small piece of brown cardstock and tape to card for trunk
  5. Glue a small button at the top for the "star"

"Card Front" Cards

    Both cards were made using old Christmas cards fronts - a great way to use up last year's cards!
  1. Outline card with gold Krylon pen
  2. Cut portion of old Christmas card to fit
  3. Computer generate text on vellum and attach with eyelets
