When I first started, I wasn't sure what to do with the inside of the cards and couldn't find any examples. I finally figured it out, and I use one of the following methods:
- If I'm using light colored card stock, I put the stock through my printer and print the message before I decorate the card. See Holiday Cards for examples
- For darker colored cards, or if I want a fancier inside, I print the message on complimentary or contrasting paper, cut or tear the edges, and glue to the inside. You can emboss the edges, or use one or more complimentary colors to layer.
There are two examples of envelopes shown:
- One I sponged with several colors to match the card and stamped a dragonfly in the corner
- The other I stippled in various colors to match the front of the card, and stamped an appropriate image in the corner
