Vintage Glass

  1. Computer generate photo and trim to 1 1/2" x 3"
  2. Tear a small piece of music decorative paper and stamp D-R-E-A-M with brown dye ink; tape to photo
  3. Cut two pieces of thin picture frame glass 1 1/2" x 3" (don't use regular stained glass as it is too thick to use two pieces)
  4. Sandwich photo between glass, wrap with copper tape, and solder.
  5. Thread 3 beads onto a head pin, cut off the exposed pin, and solder to the bottom back of the piece.
  6. Solder a jump ring on the top

Gold Star Necklace

  1. Cut a rectangle from translucent shrink plastic, approx. 2" x 1"
  2. Scribble on one side with several colors of colored pencil (I used blue, pink and purple)
  3. Punch a 1/8" hole in center top and center bottom
  4. Shrink with heat gun and flatten with wooden block
  5. Stamp plastic with design using clear embossing ink and gold emboss
  6. Thread 3 beads through a head pin, trim the end and roll into a circle.
  7. Thread through hole on bottom of piece and close circle.
  8. Attach jump ring through hole at top of earring.

Purple Clay Earrings

  1. Marble light blue, dark blue and purple Sculpey III clay, and roll on thickest setting of pasta machine
  2. Cut a 3/4" square from cardboard and use as template to cut two pieces of clay
  3. Wipe stamp with water (to help release from clay) and stamp both squares (It doesn't matter what part of the stamp you use - you just want to create a pattern in the clay)
  4. Carefully make a hole through two opposite points (I used an awl)
  5. Rub raised portions with pink interference Pearl-Ex, and bake according to directions
  6. Thread three purple beads onto a head pin, trim end and make loop through one of the holes
  7. Attach ear wire through other hole

Face Pin

  1. Stamp face on white clay with purple Brilliance ink
  2. Mask face and stamp writing
  3. Lay *Shapelet over image on clay and trace with toothpick. Cut with thin blade
  4. Mix purple and silver clay and roll out, thinner than white clay
  5. Lay white piece on purple and cut a little larger using blade
  6. Lightly press two pieces together and make hole in bottom left
  7. Bake according to directions, and when cool, stipple lightly with purple ink
  8. Attach beads to jump ring, and glue (E6000 glue) pin to back

    Stamps: Face and writing were part of Sculpey's Classic Shaplets kit. *Shapelet used came from the Asian kit.

Copper Clay Earrings

  1. Stamp design on copper Sculpey clay
  2. Cut oval shape with canape cutter
  3. Roll black clay thinner than oval piece and cut with diamond cutter
  4. Lightly press copper piece to clay piece, make hole in top, and bake
  5. Use purchased gold ball earrings (or can attach ear wire)

    Stamps: Unsure - believe it was an Anna Griffin stamp

Gekko Earrings

  1. Cut 2" heart from beige shrink plastic (with shrink to approx. 3/4")
  2. Punch 1/8" hole at center top and center bottom
  3. Stamp gekko and swirls in black ink
  4. Shrink with heat gun and flatten with wooden block
  5. Using cosmetic sponge, dab at purple pigment ink, then dab on earring. Repeat with sand pigment ink, blending slightly where colors meet
  6. Spray with clear sealer (non-gloss)
  7. Thread two beads and seed bead onto headpin, trim the end and roll into a circle.
  8. Thread through hole on bottom of earring and close circle.
  9. Attach earring wire through hole at top of earring.
  10. Repeat for other earring, making sure to switch colors (if purple was on the left of the first earring, dab on the right of the second earring)

    Stamps: All Night Media Celestial swirl; Rubber Stampede Spiral Gecko

Clay Lizard

  1. Run turquoise polymer clay through a dedicated pasta machine
  2. Stamp with African Lizard, and cut out with exacto knife
  3. Using the top part of the African Lady with Turban Stamp, stamp into clay to add texture
  4. Lightly sponge purple and peach acrylic paint on top, allowing some turquoise to show through
  5. Push two seed beads into clay for eyes and remove
  6. Bake clay according to directions
  7. Thread assorted beads onto thin pink wire and wrap around lizard, pushing beads to the top before wrapping the next piece of wire around the back
  8. When finished, turn lizard over and cover each piece of wire with Glossy Accents (This will hold the wire in place and keep the ends from lifting)
  9. Put two tiny drops of Glossy Accents in the eyes and press in the seed beads
  10. Attach a pin back with E6000 glue.
