Basic CD Pin - Version 1
Cut CD with regular scissors - it doesn't matter if it cracks a little
Sand edges
Use cotton ball or sponge and dab shiny side of CD with acrylic paint
Let dry, or dry with heat gun before you add additional color
Stamp image onto CD, using black Memories ink, off center to add interest to the pin
Rub CD with clear embossing ink, sprinkle with clear embossing powder and heat
Repeat 4 times
Outline with gold or silver Krylon pen
Drill small hole in bottom of CD and attach jump ring
Thread beads onto eye pin, bend edge to close and attach to jump ring
Attach pin closure to back of CD piece
NOTE: If you're giving the pin to someone, you may want to put several layers of colored embossing powder on the back before you drill the hole and attach the beads.
Basic CD Pin - Version 2
After cutting and sanding CD, sponge with white or off white acrylic paint.
Dry with heat gun and add another coat. Dry again
Instead of using acrylic paints, sponge on pigment inks.
