Dragonfly Domino-Beads

  1. Sponge apricot, coral and lavender ink on domino
  2. Stamp butterflies with black Memories ink; mask and stamp writing
  3. Spray with acrylic sealer
  4. Outline with gold Krylon pen and spread a coat of Future Floor Finish on domino
  5. When dry, add another coat
  6. Make necklace, and glue center gold bead to domino with E6000 glue

Blue Face Domino

  1. Sponge dark blue, light blue and purple ink on domino. Heat set ink.
  2. Stamp face with black memories ink. Heat set ink
  3. Mask face and stamp writing
  4. Spray with acrylic sealer
  5. Add two coats of Future Floor Finish
  6. Prepare bead from Sculpey clay and bake according to directions
  7. Attach findings to one end of silk cord and thread other end through bead
  8. Attach findings to other end, and glue bead to top of domino, using E6000 glue.

    Stamps: Sculpey's Classic Stamplets writing stamp and face stamp

    This domino had been bleached and the FFF made the ink "move" a little. The dragonfly domino above had not been bleached and the FFF did not affect the ink.


Romantic Domino

  1. Dab a domino with versamark chalk ink and heat set
  2. Stamp image with black permanent ink and heat set
  3. Outline with gold Krylon pen and heat set
  4. Glue a bead to the top of the domino with E6000 glue (I had a silver bead, so I rubbed it with embossing ink and sprinkled with gold embossing powder, then heated)
  5. Thread a gold chain through the bead - make sure your chain will fit through the bead before attaching to the domino

    Stamps: Unknown - I went to a stamp show and this was demonstrated by one of the vendors. Whole thing took less than 5 minutes and it looks so great.
