Lace' / Mola Cards

Mola No. 1

Mola is a new type of paper cutting which is quite new to the market, once again I gave it a try but like Lace' isnt my thing. Using Mola template 8, it is cut out and built up, the black and gold paper is Hanji paper's by Kars, which has a kind of material feel to it and is much nicer in real life.

Couldn't find a template for a Kimono so just drew one myself and made it up using the Hanji paper and black background paper, edged with peel-offs. Background stippled with Crafters Ink and PSX bamboo done with chalks.

Lace' No. 1

Lace' is one of those things that comes on the market that you feel you have to try, so try I did and although I have made a few cards, its not really my thing. This one was done with Template No. 15 which I think is more difficult than some others. As it was a Christmas card I put holographic sticky paper behind, with a Peel-off in the centre which was painted with Pearlescent paints.

Lace No. 2

Once again this is Template No. 15, backed with gold paper put through a corrugator to make the ripples.

Lace No. 3

This is done with Template No. 8 done with the proper Lace double sided card. 100 generated on the computer, printed off on pearlescent paper and silver embossed
