Journey (M33H*)

  1. Computer generate text on white glossy paper
  2. Trim and tape to folded black card
  3. Tear scrap paper to use as a mask and place on the right side of the text, making sure the text is covered
  4. Ink Posh sponge with Gold, Copper and Bronze Metallic Posh inks and run the sponge in one sweep down the right side of the card. Repeat if necessary for more coverage
  5. Move the mask to the left side of the card and repeat the process
  6. Set copper eyelets in the corners of the text piece
  7. Stamp Destiny and Journal in clear embossing ink on black card stock
  8. Sprinkle portions with gold embossing power, tap off excess, then sprinkle the uncovered areas with copper embossing powder
  9. Emboss and trim, leaving a thin black edge
  10. Attach to card with foam tape
  11. Wrap some copper Fun Wire around a metal skewer several times to make a coil and cut the end
  12. Thread gold seed beads on wire and make a second coil
  13. Attach both to card with E6000 glue
  14. Attach gold sparkly eyelash fibers to card

Male Interests Card (M34H)

  1. Fold a light sage card and lay a piece of green Magic Mesh across the front as shown
  2. Tear a piece from the bottom of an 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" tan card and line up with the bottom of the sage card
  3. Tear another piece from the tan cardstock, leave about a 2" gap for the Magic Mesh to show through, and trim the top
  4. Tack both pieces of tan cardstock to the sage card with one piece of double-sided tape just to hold in place, and stitch with white cotton thread
  5. Attach both pieces of tan cardstock to sage card
  6. Corrugate a piece of olive card stock vertically and on an angle and tape to card
  7. Computer generate images (computer, football, music note) on cream card stock
  8. Cut on angles as shown and layer to tan, then black card stock
  9. Attach to card with foam tape
  10. Twist black artistic wire as shown and glue to card with E6000
  11. Lightly stipple card and images with olive ink

Door (M35H)

  1. Stamp door with olive ink on cream cardstock and clear emboss
  2. Trim and outline with gold Krylon pen
  3. Cut cardstock with an exacto knife so doors open
  4. Computer generate "Congratulations on your New Home" on sage cardstock and trim piece 1/4" larger than door, making sure text is centered in doorway
  5. Tape door to the sage cardstock with text, then to a piece of olive card stock that has been outlined with a gold pen and set aside
  6. Outline an olive card with gold Krylon pen
  7. Computer generate key collage on sage cardstock and outline with gold pen
  8. Set two copper eyelets at the top of the key collage piece
  9. String some beads on gold floss and thread through the eyelets from the back, taping the ends to the back
  10. Tape the key collage to the olive card
  11. Attach the door piece to card with foam tape
  12. Make a clay key from a mold (See clay mold) using white polymer clay, and use the gold leafing pen to bring out the highlights of the key
  13. Glue to card with E6000

Beaded Pen

  1. Wrap a strip of O'So Sticky Tape around a BIC pen diagonally, making sure it lies flat against the pen as you wrap
  2. Peel the protective layer of paper and holding pen over a plastic container, pour red beads over
  3. Press firmly and fill in any empty spots with beads
  4. Wrap a second strip of tape around the pen, filling in the blank space. Line up the top edge of the tape with the bottom edge of the red beads and allow the bottom edge to overlap some of the red beads
  5. Remove protective layer and pour blue beads over. Press firmly and fill any empty spots.
  6. Cut a small tag from white cardstock and stamp with red and blue stars
  7. Rub red ink pad along the edges and punch a hole in the top
  8. Thread colorful fibers through the hole in the tag, and attach fibers to the top of the pen with E6000 glue

Star Thanks (M40S)

As you can see from the sample, the large star does not open, while the small star in the center does.
  1. Computer generate the large star, print on white card stock and cut out.
  2. Computer generate a double small star and computer generate "Thanks" on the front of one, print on white card stock, cut out and fold in half. (The template is shown to the left)
  3. Lay the small card in the center of the large card and trace around it.
  4. Attach strips of O'So Sticky Tape from Penny Wise Arts to the large star, spacing evenly, trimming the tape along the outline of the small star.
  5. Peel off the tape covering from EVERY OTHER strip, and holding the book over a plastic container, pour blue beads from Penny Wise Arts over the tape, pressing to assure they all stick.
  6. Repeat with the remaining strips, using red beads. Outline the star with a gold leafing pen.
  7. Outline the small star with a gold leafing pen.
  8. Cut a sheet of O'So Sticky Tape to cover the star and press down. Remove the tape covering and pour clear beads over the star.
  9. Attach to large star with foam tape.
  10. Computer generate saying on vellum and attach to the inside of the small star with vellum tape.
  11. Press a small "blob" of clear glue from a hot glue gun on a hot sheet, ink a small star stamp with gold ink and lightly press into the glue. Hold until glue cools and carefully remove stamp.
  12. Glue blue fibers to the top point of the star and attach the hot glue "seal" on top.
