Mother's Day w/Beads (M49H)

  1. Computer generate "Happy Mother's Day" using Elevator Buttons font on the bottom of an 8 1/2" x 11" piece of lilac card stock
  2. Cover each button with Glossy Accents and let dry
  3. Fold the piece in half and ink the edges with purple ink
  4. Tear a piece of white cardstock to fit across the center of the card, ink the edges and attach to the card
  5. Tear several pieces of striped decorative paper and attach to the white cardstock
  6. Computer generate the Mother Word Art on a transparency and attach to the card with purple eyelets
  7. Wrap one end of turquoise wire around an eyelet, and set the eyelet at the top corner of the card, catching the end of the wire
  8. String several beads, twisting the wire between each one
  9. Attach the other end of the wire with an eyelet

NOTE: Next time I would print the buttons, cover with Glossy Accents, cut or punch them out and attach to the card. Any of the dimensional glues tend to warp the paper a little.

    See
Word Art technique to describe how to create the Word Art used. If you'd like the Mother Word Art, please email me.
