Tile Design (M13H)

  1. Stamp design 9 times on white card using complimentary colors (I used Colorbox Pastel inks)
  2. Clear emboss and cut each one out, leaving a small border
  3. Attach tiles to white card using foam dots
  4. Sponge some of the same ink colors onto white card and clear emboss the entire piece
  5. Tape to size H peach card
  6. Thread some beads on peach Artistic Wire and make a loop at both ends
  7. Cut two piees of wire and curl.
  8. Glue one piece to top of card with E6000 glue
  9. Attach the beads to the other piece and glue at the bottom
  10. Tape the white card containing tiles on top of wire

Colorful Cactus (M14H)

  1. Stamp cactus three times on white card. (Use markers or small ink pads to color stamp). Cut out leaving a little border. Outline images with thin permanent marker
  2. Ink square stamp with magenta, yellow and green pigments and stamp in center of white card on an angle
  3. Reink square stamp and stamp as shown on card, turning the stamp so colors are not all running the same direction, until you have 7 squares (or portions)
  4. Put card through corrugator
  5. Tape to hot pink, then to size H bright yellow card
  6. Attach cactus with foam dots
  7. Punch holes in top of card and tie sheer rainbow ribbon in a bow

    Stamps: Posh Impressions Cactus Duet; Hand Carved Eraser Shadow Stamp (This was so easy to do - just cut a 3" square from eraser material, draw a line 1/2" in from edges, and use #2 carving tool to dig "trench.")

Clay Celtic Design (M15S*)

  1. For background: spread a little acrylic paint on an old credit card and drag the edge along a piece of white card. Dry with heat gun and repeat with two other colors. (I used light and dark blue and purple). (Found technique on a web site, but don't remember which one)
  2. Stamp celtic designs with clear embossing ink and silver emboss
  3. Trim to 4 1/2" square and tape to size S lilac card that has been outlined with a silver Krylon pen
  4. Clay piece:
    1. Roll out silver clay and stamp celtic design with purple ink, pressing into clay.
    2. Using Sculpey shaplet, trim excess clay away.
    3. Roll out purple metallic clay thinner than silver piece. Lay silver piece on top and cut purple piece a little larger.
    4. Press clay together, then make hole in bottom
    5. Rub silver clay with silver pearl-ex
    6. Bake according to directions
  5. Lay clay piece on cardboard and outline; cut cardboard a little larger than the clay.
  6. Rub cardboard with clear embossing ink and silver emboss.
  7. Attach beads to clay piece and glue to cardboard
  8. Attach to card with foam dots

    Stamps: Hand Carved Celtic Design Stamps

Decorated Book

  1. Sponged several layers of off-white acrylic paint on purchased journal to cover the design on the book
  2. Lay window template over book and sponge pink and purple pigment ink; let dry
  3. With template still in place, stamp images in each square, making sure to cover the squares that you aren't stamping in with scrap paper
  4. Outline each square with a black thin Sharpie

    Stamps: Hero Arts: Italian Poetry, Paris rose; Sculpey Classic Shaplets Set: Face, Small Writing, Ornate Design; Anitas large dragonfly; Inkadinkado's 8422L dragonfly; Vickie Enkoff: butterflies, Cathedral.

Paper Cast Sailboat (M16H)

  1. Make a paper casting of the sailboat and lightly sponge with blue ink
  2. Make an Artistic Wire Word "Dream"
  3. Put some white Sculpey clay into a shell candy mold, pop out and bake. Sponge with several shades of blue ink
  4. Cut two pieces of different color blue paper and tape to size H white card
  5. Attach sailboat with eyelets and glue on shell and "dream"
  6. Bend a little white wire to resemble a wave and glue to card
  7. Stamp blue sun in upper right corner

Second Self (M27H)

  1. Cut a 2" x 4 1/2" rectangle from a piece of black card stock, 1" from the left and 1/2" from the top and bottom of the card
  2. Print text on a sheet of white card stock, and trim so that the text will show through the "window" in the black card
  3. Brayer several shades of purple and just a tiny bit of goldenrod over the entire white card with the text. Ink sparingly on the right side so you can hand write a message
  4. Make a clay mold of the face stamp and press white clay into the mold. Carefully remove and bake
  5. Sponge purple pigment ink on the face and lightly brush with gold Rub n'Buff
  6. Thread a few beads onto purple Artistic wire and roll the ends
  7. Glue face and wire to front of card with E6000 glue
