Bat Mitzvah (M26H)

  1. Computer generate three designs in pink and purple ink on white card and trim to 2" squares
  2. Attach a strip of purple metallic paper to each edge of one design (if you just cut one square of metallic and mount the design, it wil be too big to fit on the card). Repeat with other two designs
  3. Fold a size H white card and cut right edge, making three points
  4. Attach designs to each point with foam tape, mounting them a little to the left of the edges, leaving about 1/8" of white showing
  5. Computer generate Bat Mitzvah in purple ink on vellum, trim to size and tape to card with vellum tape
  6. Cut three small squares of purple metallic paper and attach to INSIDE of white card

    Stamps: None

Bar Mitzvah (M26aH)

  1. Same as above but use blue designs and silver metallic paper

Torah (M39)

  1. Computer generate image on watercolor paper and trim to 3 3/4" x 5 7/8"
  2. Layer to dark blue cardstock, cut 4 1/8" x 6 1/8"
  3. Computer generate text using Killigraphy font on cream card and fold in half
  4. Attach torah to card with foam tape

    Stamps: None - clip art

Bat Mitzvah Sun (M30Q)

  1. Computer generate image on watercolor paper, and layer to white then gold cardstock
  2. Computer generate Bat Mitzvah on white quarter-size card and fold
  3. Attach gold eyelets to the left side and thread through eyelash fibers
  4. Attach sun image to card with foam tape

    Stamps: None - clip art

Brown Bar Mitzvah (M31Q)

  1. Computer generate text and star in brown ink on light tan cardstock
  2. Trim text as shown and outline with gold leafing pen
  3. Tape to quarter-size folded brown card and outline card with gold pen

The next step is a little hard to explain. I wanted the star to have a tan border where it lay on the brown card, and a brown border where it lay on the tan text piece:
  4. Tape star to a small piece of tan cardstock and cut a little larger than the star image
  5. Trim the tan cardstock from one point of the star to a second point and tape dark brown cardstock to the tan piece
  6. Trim the brown cardstock around the star image
  7. Attach the star to the card with foam tape

    Stamps: None - clip art

Dove (M32Q)

  1. Computer generate bird on watercolor paper, trim and layer to medium purple cardstock
  2. Attach to a quarter-size folded white card with purple eyelets

    Stamps: None

Student (M33H)

  1. Computer generate image and layer to white, then black card stock
  2. Cut a piece of white cardstock 7" x 6" and fold in half lengthwise
  3. Tape to a piece of cardstock cut 5 1/2" x 8 1/2"
  4. Tape student piece to folded white card

    Stamps: None - clip art

This is a little different in that the black background is a solid piece and doesn't open - the white card in the center does open and adds some interest to the card. You can see what it looks like open

Bat Mitzvah Colors (M34H)

  1. Sponge metallic paints on watercolor paper and tear edges
  2. Attach to size H cream card with foam tape
  3. Computer generate star with purple lines and text
  4. Cut out with deckle scissors, outline with gold Krylon pen and attach to card with foam tape

    Stamps: None - clip art

The black background is only shown for contrast - there is no black on the card
