Many people are looking for cards they can make up quickly - all of the cards on these pages can be made in 10 minutes or less. They are similar to many of my other cards, but are smaller and have fewer embellishments. All cards are 5 1/2" x 4 1/4". Take a sheet of card stock 8 1/2" x 11" and cut in half. Fold each half in half again and you will have two cards from each sheet of card stock. Cards are not separated into categories



Butterfly (N22Q)

  1. Tape light green decorative paper to a folded quarter-size olive card, leaving 1/4"
  2. Cut strips of dark green decorative paper and glue to card in diagonal pattern
  3. Cut butterfly and flowers from wallpaper and attach with foam tape
  4. Glue a olive ribbon bow to bottom of flowers

Violets (Quick) (N23Q)

  1. Tear the edges of a picture or old card and rub with purple ink pad
  2. Attach to quarter-size folded purple card with foam tape
  3. Cut a small tag from lilac card and attach a piece of decorative paper
  4. Computer generate the word LOVE in Carpenter font using purple ink on vellum
  5. Tear edges, rub with purple ink pad, and attach to tag with vellum tape
  6. Attach tag to card with foam tape

    This is a great way to recycle old cards



Vase (Quick) (N24Q)

  1. Tear a piece of decorative purple paper and tape to folded quarter-size lilac card
  2. Trim picture of vase from an old card and layer to dark purple, then lilac card stock
  3. Outline with silver Krylon pen and attach to card with foam tape
  4. Attach a silver skeleton leaf with vellum tape or Glossy Accents, and spread a little puddle of glue at the base of the leaf
  5. Sprinkle with Beadazzles and let dry.
  6. Glue a clay Button that has been dusted with pink Pearl-Ex to the bottom of the card

    Another use of an old card



Sunflowers (Quick)(Q25Q)

  1. Stamp sunflowers with black Stazon ink on white card stock and color with markers
  2. Tear edges and tape to torn-edge yellow-orange card stock
  3. Stamp butterflies with olive ink on golden brown quarter-size card and attach sunflowers with foam tape
  4. Tie a gold satin ribbon around the edge and tie in a bow

Garden (Quick) (N26Q)

  1. Outline a folded quarter-size dark red card with gold Krylon marker
  2. Outline two small rectanges of olive card stock with the gold marker
  3. Attach rectangles to old card front or picture, and attach piece to red card with foam tape
  4. Set a green eyelet in a gold apple in two opposite corners.

    Stamps: None - used an old card front



Topiary (Quick) (N27Q)

  1. Layer an old card front (or picture) to sage cardstock and tape to a quarter-size purple card, leaving space on the right as shown
  2. Attach 3 green eyelets, evenly spaced

Flower Tag (Quick) N28Q)

  1. Cut a flower design from an old card or picture, trim into a tag shape, and layer to dark pink, yellow and light pink cardstock.
  2. Punch a hole in top and add embroidery floss
  3. Tape a piece of striped decorative paper to a folded quarter-size purple card, and attach the tag with foam tape
  4. Tape small design piece from the card to the bottom right corner

    Stamps: None - I used an old card
