Trees (N1H)
- Stamp 4 silhouette trees in black ink on white card stock. (I didn't have the stamps, so I printed clip art trees on my laser printer)
- Stamp over each tree with a different shade of blue ink using a shadow stamp
- Arrange the trees on a light blue piece of card stock, leaving 3/8" showing and glue
- Attach to a dark blue piece of card stock 3/8" larger
- Print verse on front of size H lilac card stock (I used my graphics program; if you don't have that available, you can hand write the verse or use any stamp with an appropriate saying.)
- Attach the layered tree piece to the front of the lilac card.

Chalk Dragonfly (N2H)
- Cover white card stock with chalk, using cotton balls (I used pink, purple and blue)
- Stamp dragonfly image using clear embossing pad.
- When almost dry, brush image with chalk (it will show up much darker than the background)
- Repeat with Chinese writing image
- Tear top and bottom edges of white card stock.
- Take size H white card stock.
- Attach purple paper to white card, leaving 1/4" of white edge showing.
- Tear top and bottom of blue paper and attach to purple.
- Attach dragonfly image to blue paper.

Watercolor Iris (N3Q)
- Stamp iris on watercolor paper and emboss in gold
- Paint with water colors (see techniques)
- Take size Q purple card stock and cut oval in front. (I drew an oval in a graphics program, printed it, cut it out and used it as a template.)
- Glue the watercolor paper to the inside of purple card, making sure it is centered in the oval
- Cut size Q purple card stock in half (5 1/2" x 4 1/2") and glue to inside front card, covering the watercolor paper
- Tie a gold cord around edge of card

Purple Iris (Quick) (N4Q)
- Stamp iris in clear embossing ink on water color paper and gold emboss
- Color with watercolor pencils, blending with Dove blender
- Cut out and tape to folded quarter-size purple card
- Glue small purple bow on top
- Attach gold peel-offs to corners

Sun-Black Card (N5H)
- Draw template of sun and trace on white card stock with embossing pen.
- Emboss in gold. (This must be done in steps as embossing fluid will dry up. I outlined the edge first and embossed, then drew the inner square and embossed, then drew the circle and embossed, etc.)
- Color in with markers
- Take size H black card stock and trace template with embossing pen and gold emboss, as shown on sample card.
- Attach colored sun piece with foam pieces to front of card to add dimension

Pink Sun (N6H)
- Take a piece of white card stock and smear some ink from an inkpad in various places.
- Emboss with clear embossing powder
- Repeat with two contrasting colors (I used pink, raspberry and copper)
- Layer piece on contrasting paper, then on matching card stock.
- Stamp sun with copper ink on small piece of stock to match your card and clear emboss.
- Glue all layers together

Silver Dragonflies (N7Q)
- Using size Q dark grey card stock, stamp one large and several small dragonflies in silver ink and silver emboss.
- Ink small dragonfly with black dye ink and set aside.
- Flatten a small piece of silver Sculpey clay and impress dragonfly.
- Rub clay with silver and pink Pearl-Ex and bake at 300 for 15 minutes.
- Glue clay piece to card using E6000 glue.
