Lovely Flowers (N70)

  1. Cut blue(olive)cardstock to make a 4" x 8 1/2" card
  2. Cut oatmeal cardstock to 3 3/4" x 7"
  3. Cut blue patterned wallpaper (green decorative paper) to 3 3/8" x 6 7/8"
  4. Tear purple decorative paper (pink wallpaper) to approximately 3" x 6"
  5. Tape all layers to card, toward the top as shown
  6. Tear top and bottom, but not the sides of a 3 5/8" x 1 1/2" of light blue cardstock, and attach to card as shown. (for pink card, attach striped ribbon to olive ribbon with red liner tape and attach to card)
  7. Print clip art flowers on watercolor paper and color with watercolor pencils
  8. Use a Dove Blender to activate color and blend
  9. Tear right and bottom edges and attach to card
  10. Print definition on a scrap of watercolor paper, tear and ink edges, and attach to card with eyelets.

Thinking of You (N71S)

  1. Layer green patterned wallpaper to white textured cardstock to a folded 5 1/4" square sage card
  2. Computer generate text strip by using Bernard Fashion font and dashed line to simulate stitches
  3. Print on white textured cardstock and layer to strip of sage cardstock
  4. Brush over the lines with brown chalk and spray with acrylic sealer
  5. Attach to the card with Terra Cotta eyelets
  6. The flower is a PSP brush from KMP, but you can use a stamp or any clip art you wish. Choose a complimentary color green and "stamp" the brush.
  7. Add "stitching" around the edges by drawing a dashed line with brown
  8. Print on white textured cardstock, trim, and brush brown chalk over lines
  9. Brush yellow and orange chalk lightly over center of daisy and on petals
  10. Seal with acrylic sealer
  11. Layer to sage cardstock and attach to top left of card with foam tape

Purple Thinking of You (N72H)

  1. Add a purple gradient to the butterfly collage in Paint Shop Pro and print on vellum
  2. Layer to white textured cardstock
  3. Attach to the top of a folded 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 " purple card as shown
  4. Computer generate "Thinking of You" in purple text and print on vellum
  5. Tear and ink edges and attach to card with vellum tape
  6. Attach purple skeleton leaf with vellum tape
  7. Spread a little Glossy Accents at bottom of leaf and sprinkle with holeless beads

Spring (N73Q)

  1. Using CK Cursive font, type the word "flowers" in your graphics or word processing program.
  2. Choose landscape, and print on 8 1/2" x 11" white cardstock.
  3. Cut cardstock in half and fold to make a 5 1/2 x 4 1/4" card, with the word in the bottom right corner.
  4. Sponge the edges with pink ink, and sponge ink on three silk flowers. Set aside.
  5. Fill text with flower images following the tutorial, and print on photo paper.
  6. Trim to 5 1/2" wide.
  7. Layer to torn black, then torn pink cardstock, and attach to card.
  8. Attach flowers in top corner with green brads.

 

Watercolor Flower (N74Q)

  1. Paint center of watercolor paper with Twinkling H2O's, blending colors
  2. Add a little gold on top of it all for more shimmer
  3. Tear edges, leaving white space, and paint with Twinkling H2O's
  4. Ink flower portion of stamp with purple and stem with green and stamp in center
  5. Set 4 terra cotta eyelets in corners
  6. Layer dark yellow cardstock to 4 1/4 x 5 1/2" white card
  7. Attach watercolor piece with foam tape (watercolor piece will warp a little and to preserve the texture, add foam tape about 3/4" in from each edge. This will leave the edges a bit raised)

    Stamps: Delphinium (Rubber Stampede)

Striped Thanks (N75Q)

  1. Type the word "Thanks" in white on the pink paper, add a drop shadow, and print a 5 1/2" x 2 1/4" piece on heavy paper. (You could use a rub-on for the same effect)
  2. In a graphics program, add the three flowers to the striped paper, and print a 5 1/2" x 3" piece on heavy paper
  3. Attach the pink thanks to a folded 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" white card
  4. Cut around the bottom of the flowers so they extend beyond the striped paper
  5. Insert brads into the front two flowers
  6. Attach green dotted ribbon to the bottom edge of the striped paper (I cut around the right and left edges of the flowers a little to allow the ribbon to fit underneath)
  7. Attach the striped piece to the top of the card.
