Ivy & Flowers (N59Q)
- Outline size H olive card with a gold leafing pen
- Tear green decorative paper, outline cut edge with gold leafing pen, and attach to card
- Tear ivy and flowers image from a purchased card and outline edges with gold pen
- Layer to torn purple card stock and attach to olive card with foam tape
- Cut a small tag from purple card stock and layer a piece of purple decorative paper
- Computer generate the word Dream on vellum, tear edges and attach to tag with vellum tape
- Punch hole in tag, thread gold fibers, and attach to card with foam tape
I used the word Dream on the tag because the inside verse was: "You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream - Brown"
Stamps: None. This is a great way to use up images from old cards. You could use clip art, or a stamped image.

Daisies for Mother (any text can be used) (N60H)
- Ink Italian poetry with brown ink, stamp off (stamp once on scrap paper, then without reinking, stamp on your card - the image will be lighter), and stamp folded yellow parchment card
- Tear decorative paper, ink the edge with brown ink and tape to top right corner of card
- Tear a small piece of yellow vellum and tape to top right corner of card
- Cut golden brown card stock into a tag, attach pale yellow piece of card, then a piece of yellow vellum. Punch a hole
- Use peel off letter labels to spell MOTHER (or anything you want)
- Thread fibers through hole and attach to card with foam tape
- Stamp daisies on crackle background decorative paper and color with water color pencils
- Cut design into 6 even pieces, rub each with clear embossing ink and clear emboss. Repeat once. (I had to hold down the edge of each piece with a pencil eraser so it wouldn't blow all over while I embossed)
- Tape pieces to dark brown card stock, rub entire piece with clear embossing ink and clear emboss. (The finish on the brown is a little lumpy and the finish on the tiles is very smooth)
- Layer to golden brown card stock and attach to card with foam tape
Stamps: Daisies (Ink n' Rubber Expressions); Italian Poetry (Hero Arts)
It would have been easier to clear emboss the daisy image and then cut into squares. Since you will be embossing again after attaching to brown card, any cracks in the embossing due to cutting will be fixed.

Batik Wildflowers (N62Q)
- Stamp flowers on mulberry paper with clear embossing ink and clear emboss
- Brayer with purple, orchid and pink pigment inks
- Iron mulberry paper with tissue paper on top until embossing powder "melts" into the tissue paper. (See Faux Batik Technique)
- I used self-stick mulberry paper from Short Cuts so I peeled off the sticky back and attached to a folded quarter-size cream card (you could use any adhesive if you use regular mulberry paper)
- Computer generate text on vellum, tear edges and ink with purple pad
- Attach to front with purple eyelets
- Glue fibers to top left corner and attach small pink square cut from polymer clay
- When dry, squeeze Glossy Accents on top of clay square and let dry
- Computer generate the rest of text on vellum, tear and ink edges and attach to the inside with vellum tape.
Stamps: Delphinium (Rubber Stampede)
