Sailboat (NN1H)

  1. Stamp size H white card with homemade foam background stamp (Heated fun foam and pressed into a pile of rock salt). Ink colors - blues and greens
  2. Corrugate piece of white card and cut two squares - one 4 1/2" and one 3 1/2"
  3. Tape small square to larger square, making sure the corrugation goes in opposite directions and tape to center of stamped card
  4. Brayer white card with blues and greens, and stamp sailboat in center with dark blue ink.
  5. Clear emboss sailboat image, and attach to card with foam dots
  6. Press a piece of white Sculpey into a starfish candy mold. Bake and stipple with blue ink. Spray with sealer and glue to card with E6000 glue.
  7. Twist some turquoise Artistic wire in a spiral, thread some beads, and glue to card.

Sailboat-Quick Version (NN2Q)

  1. Heat a piece of fun foam and press into a pile of rock salt to make a background stamp.
  2. Ink foam stamp with blues and greeens and stamp on a quarter size folded white card
  3. Corrugate a square of white card and tape to stamped background
  4. Brayer a piece of white card with blues and greens, and stamp sailboat in center with dark blue ink.
  5. Clear emboss sailboat image, and attach to card with foam tape

Thinking of You Ships (Quick)(NN3Q)

  1. Layer yellow and white cardstock to a folded quarter-size blue card
  2. Tear edges of an image and attach to card with foam tape
  3. Computer generate text on vellum and attach to card with eyelets

    Stamps: None - image was from an old card front

 

Thinking of You #2 (Quick)(NN4Q)

  1. Tear edges of an image, tape a rectange of red cardstock behind image, and tape to a folded quarter-size blue card
  2. Computer generate text on vellum and attach to card with eyelets

    Stamps: None - image was from an old card front

 

Gold Ship (Quick)(NN5Q)

  1. Tape decorative paper to a quarter-size folded dark blue card and outline card with gold Krylon pen
  2. Stamp sailboat in clear embossing ink on a scrap of blue cardstock and gold emboss
  3. Tape gold foil to card and attach sailboat with foam tape

Ship and Map (Quick) (NN6Q)

  1. Computer generate map on tan card 5 1/2" x 4 1/2". Cut in half diagonally and reserve bottom portion for next card
  2. Tape top portion of map to quarter-size dark red cardstock
  3. Stamp sailboat in bottom corner with clear embossing ink and clear emboss
  4. Glue Twine along the edge of the map

Lighthouse (Quick) (NN7Q)

  1. See card above - use reserved portion of map computer generated on tan card
  2. Tape a thin strip of cream card to the edge of the map and tape to quarter-size dark red cardstock
  3. Computer Generate the lighthouse on tan cardstock, layer to cream card and attach to card with foam tape
  4. Tie a knot in each end of a piece of twine and glue to the edge of the card

Ship Tag (Quick) (NN8Q)

  1. Cut a 2 " square in quarter size cream folded card (1 1/8" from each edge and 3/4" from the top)
  2. Computer generate ship collage on white card stock and cut in tag shape
  3. Sponge blue ink on tag, and brown ink around edges
  4. Layer to dark blue cardstock, punch hole and thread yarn through
  5. Fold a tan card and rub blue inkpad around edges
  6. Attach tag with foam tape
  7. Punch out letters T-R-U-S-T and attach to card
  8. Put Glossy Accents on top to add shine

    Stamps: None- computer generated. Punch out letters from Outside the Margins
