Sisters (R98H)

  1. Lightly sponge brown and burgundy inks on a folded cream textured card, and rub edges with brown ink
  2. Tear Music decorative paper as shown, attach a torn piece of burgundy card stock, and tape to card
  3. Scan photo, convert to greyscale and colorize. Print on photo paper.
  4. Layer to burgundy, then tan cardstock with torn bottom edge
  5. Attach to card with foam tape
  6. Cut a tag shape from cream textured card, computer generate the word "Sisters" in burgundy, sponge with brown ink, rub the edges with brown, and layer to tan cardstock. Punch hole in top
  7. Cut a second tag shape from cream, sponge with brown ink, layer to tan, and attach a piece of torn music paper
  8. Stamp with writing in burgundy ink
  9. Thread fibers through tag with writing, and attach both tags to card with foam tape
  10. Make a key and G Cleff from clay molds, (see clay mold) rub with gold Rub n' Buff and glue to card with E6000.

Cutie (R99Q)

  1. Print little girl on white cardstock, mat with purple, then purple decorative paper
  2. Print text using Bernhard Fashion font on white cardstock.
  3. Cut out each word separately, mat to purple then decorative paper
  4. Fold a dark purple card to 4 1/4 x 5 1/2"
  5. Tear white cardstock and decorative purple paper and attach to top left corner
  6. Attach text with foam tape
  7. Attach girl image with tape
  8. Glue a small purple ribbon to front of picture


A Friend Loves (R100H)

    Make purple background piece:
  1. Stamp decorative swirl ramdomly on glossy white paper using clear embossing ink and let dry.
  2. Brayer with purple and pink chalk inks, with a final brayer of French Lilac. Let dry.
  3. Sand paper horizontally and vertically and brush off dust.
    Complete card:
  1. Fold cream cardstock to 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and stamp swirl randomly on right side with clear embossing ink. LET DRY.
  2. Using a makeup applicator, lightly rub with chalk.
  3. Spray with matt sealer.
  4. Tear a piece of background paper and attach to left side.
  5. Print the girls clipart on cream cardstock.
  6. Glue on lace as a border, mitering edges.
  7. Cut a tag shape from cream cardstock and ink edges.
  8. Cut a slightly smaller tag from the purple background paper and attach.
  9. Print the text in Petra Script font on vellum using purple ink, tear and ink edges, and attach to tag with vellum tape.
  10. Punch a hole and attach lace and pearls.
  11. Attach girls and tag to card with foam tape.

Best Friends (R101H)

  1. Computer generate text ("Best Friends" in Dyer font and "never go out of" in CAC Shishoni Brush font) and print at top of purple decorative paper
  2. Trim paper to 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" and attach to white card
  3. Outline with silver leafing pen
  4. Computer generate the word "Style" using your custom-made alphabet (see below)
  5. Color the letters in purple and the images in black
  6. Print on white cardstock
  7. Trim and mat to black cardstock, outline edges with silver leafing pen
  8. Punch a small hole at the bottom of the black mat and attach the silver friend charm with a silver jump ring
  9. Attach Style piece to card with foam tape
  10. Attach a silver skeleton leaf to the bottom right with vellum tape
  11. Spread a puddle of Glossy Accents and add microbeads.

    Custom Alphabet: Using Ladies of the 20's dingbat font from House of Lime, type one of the letters to get the flapper image you want. Using an appropriate font (I used the art-decco font Broadway), type your letter in whatever color you want (I used purple). Repeat for the rest of the letters. Floral Anniversary (R102S)

  1. Cut 8 1/2 x 11" oatmeal cardstock to 5 1/2" x 11" and fold in half
  2. Stamp writing stamp randomly using green ink, and sponge edges with Tea Dye Distressed Ink
  3. Cut olive cardstock 4 3/4" square and attach
  4. Tear floral paper approximately 4 1/2" square, and sponge edges with Tea Dye
  5. Put piece through printer to print "Anniversary Wishes" in Aeolus font, and attach to card
  6. Sponge white slide mount with green ink and Tea Dye and stamp writing stamp in green ink
  7. Spray with matt sealer
  8. Attach to card with foam tape
  9. Attach a gold heart (I only had a silver one, so I colored with gold leafing pen)

    Stamps: None

Count the Memories (R103Q)

  1. Cut cream cardstock 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" but fold at the top
  2. Computer generate the text in pink ink using Angelina font
  3. Cut a piece of pink decorative paper 4 1/4" x 1 3/4" and tape to top of card
  4. Ink edges with pink inkpad
  5. Computer generate "Birthday Wishes" in CAC Shishoni font on vellum, tear edges and ink with pink
  6. Layer to dusty pink cardstock, then silver paper, tearing the bottom edges of both
  7. Attach a silver eyelet to the bottom of this piece as shown, and to a medium rectangular tag
  8. Stamp butterflies in pink on tag
  9. Use silver cord to tie tag to "birthday" piece, and tape piece to card
  10. Put a drop of glue at the bottom right corner of the tag to hold in place

Embossed Anniversary (R104H)

  1. Computer generate sheet music on cream cardstock, and fold in half to make a 5 1/2 x 8 1/2" card
  2. Sponge edges with Old Paper Distress Ink
  3. Cut Embossed floral vellum 4 7/8" x 7 1/4"
  4. Outline with gold leafing pen and attach to card
  5. Cut dark red cardstock 4 3/8" x 5 1/4", outlined with gold pen and attach
  6. Computer generate sheet music on cream cardstock, but to 3 5/8" x 3 1/4", and sponge edges with Old Paper ink; attach to card
  7. Cut cream embossed cardstock 3 1/4" x 3 1/4" and attach
  8. Tie sheer burgundy ribbon in fold of card
  9. Attach gold heart as shown
