Antique Letter (R91H)

  1. Fold 8 1/2" x 11" white textured card stock in half and stamp with both writing stamps, using brown ink
  2. Sponge entire card with Old Paper Distress Ink, and sponge Tea Dye Distress Ink around the edges. Set aside.
  3. Transfer sepia photo onto smooth cream card stock using Transfer Ink
  4. Trim edges with deckle scissors
  5. Sponge an envelope with Old Paper and Tea Dye Distress inks, wrinkle the envelope, and mist with water to "move" the inks
  6. Computer generate addressee and post mark using brown ink, and run envelope through printer to print
  7. Wet envelope again and tear as shown, curling the edge a little
  8. Age an appropriate postage stamp and attach
  9. Insert photo into envelope
  10. Run label holder sticker through printer to print names, and attach to card with gold eyelets
  11. Glue two brown buttons to top right.

    Stamps: Italian Poetry stamp (Hero Arts); Small writing stamp (Sculpey's Classic Stamplets Set). The photograph is from my grandparent's wedding.

Stewart Superior Transfer Ink Instructions: Print photo on text paper using INK JET PRINTER, lay face down on cardstock, spray with Transfer Ink and brayer. Lift a corner to see if picture has transferred, and repeat spraying and brayering if necessary.

 

Pink Dream (R92Q)

  1. Stamp Swirly Portrait on pink cardstock with black ink and black emboss
  2. Trim and layer to black cardstock
  3. Randomly stamp Klimt Border on a larger piece of pink cardstock with black ink and black emboss
  4. Layer to a folded 5 1/2 x 4 1/4" card
  5. Attach Portrait to card with foam tape
  6. Glue decorative fibers to top corner with Glossy Accents
  7. Press white polymer clay into a rough oval shape and stamp D-R-E-A-M
  8. Brush with pink interference Pearl-Ex, making sure it gets into the depressed letters and bake according to directions
  9. When cool, sponge piece with black ink and heat set
  10. Spray with gloss sealer
  11. Attach to card with Glossy Accents

Friends (R93Q)

  1. Fold a cream card to 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" and tape a piece of light green decorative paper to the right side, extending to about the middle of the card
  2. Tear a small strip of cream cardstock, put through the crimper and rub the edge with green ink
  3. Tape to the card, overlapping the decorative paper
  4. Tear a piece of green quilted paper and tape to the card, overlapping the crimped piece
  5. Stamp girl on a tag using Jardin Moss pallette ink by Stewart Superior
  6. Ink the edges of the tag and thread through green fibers
  7. Attach tag to card with foam tape
  8. Stamp "Friends" at the bottom right using the same ink

Lace Heart (R94H)

  1. Stamp poetry on a folded pink card with pink pigment ink.
  2. Stamp leaf background on vellum with clear embossing ink, then emboss with white detail powder.
  3. Tear edges of vellum and attach to pink card with pink eyelets.
  4. Thread white sheer ribbon through eyelets and tie in a bow.
  5. Cut a heart from white cardboard, rub with clear embossing ink, and emboss with clear UTEE 3-4 times.
  6. Ink the leaf background stamp with pink, heat the heart, and while still molten, carefully stamp onto the heart.
  7. Outline heart with a gold Krylon pen.
  8. Glue a ribbon rose to the top of the heart, and attach the heart to the card with foam tape.

Wild About You (R95Q)

  1. Cut a piece of decorative leopard paper 1/4" smaller than a folded 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" black card and attach
  2. Attach sticker tags to spell W-I-L-D with gold eyelets
  3. Computer generate "ABOUT YOU" in Punch label font on beige cardstock, cut out, and tape to card
  4. Sponge a large slide mount cover with black ink, then with clear embossing ink and clear emboss - Repeat 3 times
  5. Ink up decorative stamp with gold ink, heat the slide mount so embossing powder is molten, and carefully stamp design. Repeat for the other three sides.
  6. Computer generate image of couple and attach to back of slide mount
  7. Attach slide mount to card with foam tape

Together (R96Q)

  1. Tear two piees of decorative paper and tape to folded quarter size olive card
  2. Outline the card with a gold Krylon pen
  3. Computer generate verse in green on light sage card and tape to torn edge olive card that has been outlined in gold
  4. Attach to main card with foam tape
  5. Sponge clay heart (See clay mold. I made a clay mold of a brass charm) with sage acrylic paint, let dry, and attach to card with E6000 glue

The First Time I Saw Your Face (R97S)

  1. Computer generate image of girl (1 1/4") and color with 9 different colors (alternately, you could print image and color with ink)
  2. Cut out images and tape to black card stock, then to medium blue stock
  3. Tape to 5" square cream card stock and rub edges with dark blue ink
  4. Can use the verse from the Roberta Flack song for inside: The first time ever I saw your face, I felt the earth move...
