Roses in December (R67Q)

  1. Using Digital Stamp Technique, convert clip art image of woman with rose. (first image on left)











  2. Add appropriate text and print onto transparency. (second image on left) Set aside.











  3. Cut dark purple cardstock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and fold to make a 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" card
  4. Cut purple decorative paper 1/4" smaller and tape to card
  5. Tear tan decorative paper, ink edges with purple inkpad, and attach to card
  6. Center transparency over decorative paper so entire verse shows and attach with purple eyelets

Key Collage (R68H)

  1. Fold an 8 1/2 x 11 piece of cream cardstock in half and sponge the front with Old Paper Distress ink. Set aside.
  2. Crumble, then straighten a piece of cream cardstock and dab with Walnut Stain Distress inkpad.
  3. Spritz with water and allow the ink to run and cover the sheet. For fast drying, use a heat gun.
  4. Trim to fit card front, leaving about a 1/4" - 1/2" border.
  5. Prepare the key collage (sample shown at left) as a Font Collage Background and print on tan Fabric Swatchz. (Print the collage on scrap paper first, centering the collage. Then tape your fabric to the scrap paper on all sides and put it back through the printer).
  6. Stitch the fabric to the walnut stained paper, going around twice. Don't worry about stitching straight - this look doesn't require it.
  7. Pull some threads from the edges of the fabric to give it a frayed look.
  8. Stipple lightly with Tea Dye Distress ink.
  9. Attach to the card you prepared above.
  10. Stamp Miss Catherine on cream cardstock with Walnut Stain Distress ink.
  11. Rub the edges with the Tea Dye Distress inkpad and spread a little ink with your finger on the image to age it.
  12. Rub 4 clay corners (See clay mold) with the ink and let dry.
  13. Rub copper Pearl-Ex on top and glue corners to image.
  14. Attach to card with foam tape.
  15. Crumble and smooth a small tag and rub with Tea Dye Distress ink.
  16. Spritz with a little water to move the ink around.
  17. When dry, stamp key with Walnut Stain Distress ink.
  18. Attach to card with a copper eyelet.
  19. Thread some fibers through the eyelet and glue a small button to the tag.
  20. Thread some brown embroidery thread through a few buttons and glue to the card.

Suzanne (R69H)

  1. Tear brown textured paper and attach with E6000 glue to the right side of a folded 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 tan card
  2. Tear decorative writing paper and attach to the left side of the card, overlapping the brown
  3. Attach a small piece of torn handmade paper to the center
  4. Cut a definition from decorative paper, sponge with Tea Dye Distress ink and spritz with water
  5. When dry, attach to the bottom right corner of card
  6. Attach a word eyelet to the center of the definition
  7. Stamp woman on a scrap of tan cardstock with black Memories ink and color with chalks
  8. Spray with Workable Fixative to give the chalk something to "grab."
  9. Add additional layers of chalk and fixative until you get the color depth you want
  10. Ink the edges with Tea Dye Distress ink and attach to the center of the card with foam tape.

Gift Tag #1 (R70)

  1. Cut burgundy cardstock into a tag shape, approximately 3" x 4"
  2. Stamp Italian Poetry with silver ink at an angle
  3. Tear a piece of cream decorative paper, ink the torn edge with silver and tape to tag
  4. Outline tag with silver leafing pen
  5. Cut a small square of silver metallic paper and attach at the top - punch hole
  6. Thread silver fibers through
  7. Glue a small piece of white lace across tag
  8. Color a gold heart charm with the silver leafing pen and glue to bottom of tag (or use a silver charm if you have)
  9. Prepare a small clay frame. (See clay mold) and color with silver leafing pen
  10. Print "Gifts" in burgundy ink and attach behind the frame
  11. Attach frame to tag with E6000 glue.

Gift Tag #2 (R71)

  1. Cut burgundy cardstock into a tag shape, approximately 3" x 4"
  2. Stamp Italian Poetry with silver ink at an angle on the right side
  3. Tear a piece of cream decorative paper, ink the torn edge with silver and tape to tag
  4. Outline tag with silver leafing pen
  5. Cut a small square of silver metallic paper and attach at the top - punch hole
  6. Thread silver ribbon through
  7. Glue a small piece of white lace over decorative paper
  8. Color a clay heart with silver leafing pen. (See clay mold)
  9. Print "Gifts" in burgundy ink and attach behind the frame
  10. Make a tiny envelope from vellum and attach to tag
  11. Print "Gifts" in burgundy ink on cream cardstock.
  12. Trim, outline with silver pen, and insert into envelope.
