Silhouette Hats (R62H)
- Ink both silhouettes with Sky Blue and Turquoise pigment ink and stamp repeatedly on a folded turquoise card.
- Emboss with clear embossing powder.
- Brayer a small piece of white card with Sky Blue, Turquoise and Aqua pigment ink and spray with acrylic sealer. Let dry.
- Stamp one image with black pigment ink and black emboss. (Since I used pigment ink, sealing after brayering allowed me to emboss just the silhouette image without the embossing powder sticking to the entire piece.)
- Cut the corners off four junk-mail envelopes, sponge with clear embossing ink and black emboss. (It helps to hold the corners with tweezers so the heat gun doesn't blow the pieces all over.) You could, of course, use purchased photo corners, but I didn't have any handy.
- Layer the black embossed silhouette to a piece of black card stock, attach the corners with E6000 glue, and attach the piece to the card with foam tape.
- Computer-generate the verse on vellum and attach to the card with eyelets.
