Romantic Girl (R56H)

  1. Print girl and botanical images on transparency and trim.
  2. Print "Birthday" and "Wishes" in Porcelain font on cream cardstock.
  3. Trim to the size of the transparencies and attach with vellum tape. (Alternately, you could print your text right on the image before printing on the transparency).
  4. Fold 8 1/2 x 11 cream cardstock in half to make a card 8 1/2 x 5 1/2.
  5. Tear pink decorative paper on a diagonal as shown and tape to card.
  6. Chalk the edges of the paper and card with pink.
  7. Glue white grossgrain ribbon across bottom of card and glue thin pink ribbon across the center.
  8. Attach a transparent pink Love button in the center of the ribbons.
  9. Glue white lace to the top left corner of the card and attach three pink Junkitz buttons.
  10. Attach the transparencies with foam tape.
  11. Cut a small tag from green decorative paper and cut a slightly smaller tag from cream and attach.
  12. Print "for you" on scrap paper, then tape a small piece of torn pink decorative paper on top and put it back through your printer.
  13. Attach to the top of the tiny tag, punch a hole and thread pink ribbon through.
  14. Attach to card with foam tape.

Black and White (R57Q)

  1. Cut white cardstock to 5 1/4" x 10 1/2" and fold in half
  2. Cut black cardstock to 5" x 5" and attach to white card with 3 white eyelets
  3. Stamp Hat Silhouette on white cardstock with black ink and set aside
  4. Stamp 8 Decorative Borders with black ink on white cardstock and cut each out
  5. Attach 4 strips to make a frame, mitering the edges. Repeat with the other 4 strips
  6. Center the Silhouette in one of the frames, taping the piece to the back of the frame
  7. Tape the second frame on top, turning so the points are at an angle
  8. Attach the frames to the card with foam tape
  9. Glue Junkitz black buttons to the corners of the frame
  10. Glue the "remember" embellishment to the bottom right corner

Mother Word Art (R58H)

  1. Computer generate Word Art onto transparency and set aside.
  2. Fold oatmeal cardstock to make a card, 5 1/2" x 8 1/2".
  3. Cut a piece of rose decorative paper 5 1/2" by 2 1/2" - tear one edge.
  4. Tear dark red, then olive cardstock and attach to decorative paper.
  5. Repeat for bottom portion of card.
  6. Center transparency on card and tape decorative paper to top and bottom.
  7. Set 4 red eyelets in transparency.
  8. Attach a burgundy ribbon bow to the top and a cameo button to the bottom.

    Stamps: None. Word Art was created in Paint Shop Pro, using Porcelain and Zaptfino fonts. Each was placed on a separate layer to allow for movement, coloring, etc., and then printed on a transparency for this card. Look for my upcoming tutorial on creating Word Art

Precious Things Bookmark (R59H)

  1. Print text on transparency using Killigraphy and Arthur fonts.
  2. Trim to 7 1/2" x 2 3/4".
  3. Paint bronze metallic acrylic on the back of transparency, swirling the brush, and leaving some areas lightly covered. Do not paint all the way to the edges.
  4. When paint is dry, attach transparency to a second piece with copper eyelets. 3liRound the corners with a pair of scissors.
  5. Punch a hole in the top, set an eyelet, and thread through fibers.
  6. Fold 8 1/2 x 11 cream cardstock in half to make a card 8 1/2 x 5 1/2.
  7. Tear 3 complimentary decorative papers and attach to card.
  8. Tear fourth decorative paper piece to form a pocket along the bottom.
  9. Thread gold, olive and burgundy sheer ribbon through each side of charm and tie in a knot.
  10. Glue charm to pocket with E6000 and attach ends of ribbon to the back of the pocket.
  11. Attach pocket to card using double sided tape (do not tape the top edge).
  12. Attach copper eyelets in each corner of the pocket.
  13. Sponge edges of card with Distress Ink.
  14. Insert bookmark in pocket.

    Stamps: None.

Waiting (R60Q)

  1. Print L-O-V-E text on transparency using Rose Caps font and blue ink, and trim to 5 1/4".
  2. Cut 5 1/4" square card from blue card stock.
  3. Layer with 4 3/4" square cream cardstock and 4 1/2" square tan cardstock.
  4. Attach transparency with blue eyelets.
  5. Print clip-art image on watercolor paper, 2" x 3 1/2" , and tear edges.
  6. Rub with olive ink.
  7. Attach to center of transparency with foam tape.
  8. Attach broken heart charms to image with foam tape
  9. Punch 4 evenly spaced holes in the edge of the card.
  10. Tie blue, cream and olive ribbon through holes.

    Stamps: None.
