Dancing (R142S)

  1. Print Word Art (Without music and love...) on striped paper and cut to 5 1/2" square
  2. Attach to 5 1/2" square card
  3. In a graphics program, I layered the dancing couple (which had a transparent background) over the purple dot paper and printed, then cut into a semi circle. (If you don't do digital, you can print the couple and cut around, then layer to the paper)
  4. Layer couple to blue cardstock and attach to card with foam tape
  5. Print "Happy Anniversary" on a digital tag and print on white cardstock
  6. Attach purple brads through blue flowers and glue to tag, along with purple and blue ribbon
  7. Attach tag to card
  8. Glue two blue flowers to bottom of card

Credits: Digital Striped Paper (Kay Eflin E-scape and Scrap); Purple Dotted Paper (Misty Cato); Dancing Couple (unknown); Digital Tag-Recolored (Karola Witczak aka Haika ); Word Art (Dyan Cross)

Technique: Created 5 1/2" square, layered with striped paper and added Word Art as a separate layer. Added a layer and made an elliptical selection, then filled with the purple dotted paper (don't deselect). Added a layer, expanded the selection by 10, filled with the solid blue and dragged that layer below the purple one. I then printed each layer separately, trimmed, and had the perfectly lined-up circles. (To save ink on printing, layer a white circle on the portion of the striped paper that will be covered by the dancing couple. Do the same with the blue cardstock).

Count the Years (M143L)

  1. Trim and fold white cardstock to make a 9" x 4" card
  2. Attach complimentary decorative paper to the top and bottom half of the card
  3. Attach black striped ribbon across the center, hiding the seam
  4. Open digital tag and add text; print on white cardstock and cut out
  5. Insert red eyelet and attach to card with foam tape
  6. Glue assorted buttons to bottom right

Credits: "Yellow" Digital Paper (Maryann Buchanan) - to make this paper fit the color scheme better, I added a layer, filled with the burgundy color, and changed the Blend Mode to Overlay; Red Digital Paper (Jan Hosford
Digital Freebies). I created the tag using Maryann's paper and a blank tag shape.

Ability to See Beauty (R144L)

  1. Fold 9" x 8" rust cardstock to a 9" x 4" card
  2. Trim decorative paper 1/8" smaller, tear the left edge, ink edges, and attach to front of card (I used digital paper)
  3. Print text (Anyone who keeps the ability...)on vellum using Battle Iron Work and CAC Shishoni fonts.
  4. Cut decorative cardstock into a tag shape, and trim vellum to match - punch a hole through both pieces
  5. Ink the edges of the vellum and lay on top of cardstock tag
  6. Thread pearls and sheer ribbon through top and tie in a knot
  7. Attach the tag to the card with foam tape

Techniques: I used a portion of Sueli Colbert's Kit Memory Paper as the background, and added a misted image by RW-Retro Momentos on top. (The misted image has soft edges and no background, so I was able to make it blend with the background paper - the entire collage is part of the same image).

Pink Flourish (R145Q)

  1. Attach pink decorative paper to a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" card (I used digital brushes to make the brown design, but you can rubber stamp or use rub-ons)
  2. Layer lady clip art to a pink background in a graphics program and print on white cardstock
  3. Matt to brown cardstock and attach to card with foam tape
  4. Tie brown fiber at the top of a "wish" charm and glue to bottom corner of card
  5. Using a tiny brush, dot pink brads with brown acrylic paint
  6. Insert brads through flowers and glue to card

Credits: Pink Paper (recolored) (Laurie Farrar Shabbyesque); Large Flourish Design (Doodle Art 9 - Melissa aka RebelKat Scrappy Expressions); Small Flourish Design (unknown)

Technique: Opened the pink background paper. "Stamped" the large brush 6 times, each on it's own layer and rotated them until I was pleased with the look. New layer-drew a brown thin line, duplicated the layer and moved it down a little. Drew a dotted line, size 20 between them, and merged the 3 layers. Duplicated and moved it down about an inch. "Stamped" the small flourish brush between the two line segments.
