Rachel's Journal (R33)

  1. Stamp column twice, decoration and small writing in clear embossing ink on size H cream card
  2. When almost dry, rub with beige/brown chalks (I used eyeshadow)
  3. Stipple, then sponge brown, orange and yellow inks all over card, making color heavier around edges
  4. Stamp Ophelia, butterflies and ART in brown ink
  5. Stamp poetry and small writing in beige ink
  6. Attach a small piece of torn vellum to left edge of card
  7. Cut three small tags from cream card, sponge with same colors as card and rub brown ink along edges. Punch 1/8" hole in top of tags
  8. Computer generate the three words (Dream, Imagine, Discover) in brown ink on vellum and tear to fit tags.
  9. Tape to tags with vellum tape and attach tags to card with foam tape.
  10. Cover a purchased journal with decorative writing paper and attach card to front with foam tape
  11. Tie fibers to spiral binding

Ophelia (R34Q)

  1. Tear a piece of blue decorative paper, then tear a strip from blue card stock and tape both to a folded quarter-size cream card
  2. Stamp Ophelia on a cream card scrap with black ink, tear around edges and rub with dusty blue eyeshadow (or chalk)
  3. Color image with watercolor pencils and blend with a Dove Blender
  4. Attach to card with foam tape
  5. Glue two buttons to card with E6000 glue

Victorian Child (R35H)

  1. Draw 1/4" stripes on card stock and cut out every other one, making a template. (I used my computer graphics program so the stripes would be even)
  2. Lay the template on a folded cream card and sponge beige ink on the card
  3. Tear a piece of coordinating decorative paper and tape to the top of the card
  4. Cut out three small scalloped-top tags from cream card stock, sponge with beige ink and rub the ink pad along the edges
  5. Punch holes in the top
  6. Glue bits of fabric, lace and buttons to tags and attach to side of card with foam tape
  7. Layer child's picture from Altered Pages Victorian Children parchment sheet to cream card stock, then to corrugated tan card stock
  8. Attach picture to card with foam tape
  9. Glue a piece of fancy lace to the bottom left corner with E6000.

Love Tag (R36Q)

  1. Fold a size Q olive card and stamp flowers and small writing with olive ink
  2. Outline with gold Krylon pen
  3. Cut 3" x 4 1/2" tag from scrap card stock and cut two pieces of decorative paper as shown
  4. Stamp large writing on the light green paper and outline torn side with gold pen
  5. Tape papers to tag and outline tag with gold pen
  6. Punch hole in top, attach gold fibers, and attach to olive card with foam tape
  7. Condition white Sculpey clay in the pasta machine and roll out a thin piece.
  8. Cut 4 small tags with an exacto knife, and punch a hole in each with a toothpick
  9. Wet the L-O-V-E letter stamps (to keep from sticking to clay)and lightly press into clay.
  10. Bake at 275 for 12 minutes
  11. When cool, rub with gold Rub n' Buff and let dry
  12. Thread gold fiber through the "L" and attach all letters to card with E6000 glue.

Love Thee Bookmark (R37H)

  1. Tear purple decorative paper and tape to a 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 cream card
  2. Tear a stripe of pink decorative paper and tape to card ONLY at the sides
  3. Computer generate verse on cream paper and trim to 2 5/8" x 6 1/2"
  4. For the bookmark, cut the following:
    1. 3 1/4" x 7 1/4" from cream card
    2. 3" x 7" from pink decorative paper
    3. 2 3/4" x 6 3/4" from purple decorative paper
  5. Tape the bookmark layers together, punch a hole at the top and thread pink, purple and cream ribbon through
  6. Stamp the butterfly in purple ink at the bottom of the bookmark, and several times at the top of the cream card
  7. Cut a small slit in the purple decorative paper so the bottom right corner of the bookmark can be inserted (otherwise, the bookmark slips through)
  8. Insert bookmark through pink strip

Love Silhouette (R38H)

  1. Cut white rose decorative paper with fancy scissors and outline cut edge with gold Krylon pen
  2. Tape to folded size H cream card, and outline entire card with gold pen
  3. Stamp letters L-O-V-E with clear embossing ink on vellum and gold emboss
  4. Cut out, trimming closely, tape to gold card stock and attach to bottom of card with foam tape
  5. Computer generate silhouette couple and stamp window on top with clear embossing ink, then gold emboss
  6. Cut out window, trimming closely, and attach to card with foam tape
  7. Rub clay heart charm (clay mold) with gold Rub 'n Buff and glue to card with E6000
