New Home Vellum Pocket (or any saying) (R26Q)

  1. Outline a folded quarter-size sage card with gold leafing pen
  2. Cut 4 rectangles of decorative paper, two each of complimentary colors, and tape to card
  3. Cut a piece of vellum and attach to card with 4 copper eyelets
  4. Computer generate verse on sage cardstock, cut and outline with gold leafing pen
  5. Stamp with two butterflies
  6. Punch hole in top and thrad olive ribbon through
  7. Place in vellum pocket

New Home (or any saying) (R27Q)

  1. Computer generate text in purple on vellum and attach to a silver-rimmed tag with vellum tape
  2. Trim an old card front to fit a folded quarter-size lilac card
  3. Wrap lilac ribbon around the back of the card front and attach with tape
  4. Thread ribbon through the tag and attach to the back of the other side of the card front
  5. Attach the card front to the lilac card with double-sided tape

    Stamps: None

Thinking of You (R28Q)

  1. Stamp hearts, stars and swirls on a vellum piece with clear embossing ink and clear emboss
  2. Sponge pink and purple ink over entire piece. (Instead of "tapping" the sponge, I actually rubbed the color on as the vellum is "slippery.")
  3. Wipe embossed images with paper towel to remove ink
  4. Layer to folded quarter size cream card which has been outlined with Krylon gold marker
  5. Computer generate the text in purple on lilac card.
  6. Layer to a purple piece and tape to card
  7. Glue small purple bow and white ribbon rose.

Template Heart (R29Q)

  1. Computer generate the word love in Carpenter font on purple card
  2. Cut and tape various decorative papers to folded quarter-size lilac card
  3. Attach pink heart eyelet in one square
  4. Glue purple clay button in one square, and white ribbon heart in another
  5. Attach purple string heart with foam tape

    This string heart was made by my dear friend Mary in Scotland. You can use any embellishment on this card, or make a bunch of the string hearts ahead of time.

 

Friend Loveth (R30Q)

  1. Cut 4 pieces of decorative paper from two different designs 1 7/8" x 2 5/8" and tape to a quarter size cream card
  2. Computer generate quote on cream card stock, 2 1/4" square, and layer to 2 1/2" square olive card
  3. Tape olive ribbon to back of verse portion, then attach to main card with foam tape
  4. Insert small gold brad in top of card, catching the top of the ribbon
  5. Tie olive floss through two clay buttons (Clay Buttons) and glue to card with E6000 glue. You can use purchased buttons.

    Stamps: None

 

Beauty Changes Bookmark(R31Q)

  1. Tape a piece of decorative paper to a folded quarter size cream card
  2. Tear yellow vellum as shown and attach to card with purple eyelets
  3. Computer generate verse on cream card stock and trim to 1 3/4" x 4 1/2"
  4. Layer to Tan cardstock (1 7/8" x 4 5/8") then to Parchment card stock (2 1/4" x 5")
  5. Stamp butterfly in brown ink on bottom
  6. Punch hole in top and tie sheer cream ribbon

Silhouette (R32Q)

  1. Sponge purple ink through a stripe template* on the bottom portion of a quarter-size cream card (or use striped decorative paper)
  2. Tear another piece of cream cardstock as shown, and stamp the Silhouette image in purple ink
  3. Clear emboss
  4. Ink the Splatter Pattern with purple ink and stamp several times without reinking
  5. Tear a piece of purple card stock and tape to the back of the torn piece
  6. Tape to folded card
  7. Sponge a clay heart charm with purple ink and glue to card with a small purple bow (See clay mold. I made a clay mold of a brass charm). You can use a purchased charm.

    *To make the stripe template, I drew lines 1/4" apart in a graphics program, printed on cardstock, and cut along every other line. Email me if you would like the template.
