Music Invitation (R14L)

  1. Cut tag 3 3/4" x 8" from dark red cardstock.
  2. Outline with gold Krylon pen
  3. Computer generate sheet music, cut to fit tag and tear the bottom. Attach with tape
  4. Computer generate saying on vellum and attach to tag with eyelets
  5. Put a sheet of dark red cardstock through the corrugator, and cut two hearts, and one small square
  6. Outline hearts with gold pen and wrap with fine gold cord.
  7. Attach hearts to tag with foam tape
  8. Tape small square at top of tag, punch hole and thread fibers through

    Since this was an invitation, I wrote the names of the couple on the hearts, and computer generated the text of the invitation on heavier vellum, then cut to size and attached to the back with vellum tape, as shown to the left. (I removed the personal information). This fits into a standard business size No. 10 envelope.

Door (R15H)

  1. Using homemade template, cut rectangles of deep pink and lighter pink
  2. Layer and attach to folded size H purple card
  3. Ink door stamp with several shades of purple and pink and stamp on lilac cardstock
  4. Trim and attach to largest rectangle with foam tape
  5. Computer generate text in purple ink on vellum, tear edges and attach with vellum tape
  6. Make a key from polymer clay, using a clay mold of a key charm
  7. Sponge the key and edges with purple pigment ink, glue to a small purple tag, and tape to one of the small rectangles
  8. Make a frame from polymer clay, using a clay mold of a frame
  9. Sponge with purple ink and attach a small computer generated photo to the back
  10. Glue to the last rectangle

    This was a thank you card but you could use any verse

Sweet Serenity (R16H)

  1. Sponge gold, bronze and rose metallic paint on black cardstock
  2. Let dry, and press between books to flatten
  3. Layer to burgundy card stock and cut slits at each corner
  4. Wrap with gold floss, and tape to a black folded card
  5. Outline with gold leafing pen
  6. Stamp image with clear embossing ink on black cardstock and sprinkle with EmbosStick (sticky embossing powder)
  7. Heat until just melted and still tacky and cover with Fashion Flakes gold leaf
  8. Brush vigorously with stiff paintbrush to remove excess leaf
  9. Outline with gold leafing pen and layer to burgundy card stock with torn bottom
  10. Attach to card with foam tape
  11. Glue a jewelry charm to bottom with E6000 glue.

Beauty of Dreams (R17)

    Front:
  1. Paint a coat of cream acrylic paint on double slide holder, inside and out (don't forget the edges) and let dry
  2. Sponge front and back with rose metallic paint, then touches of purple and gold and when dry, repeat with inside
  3. Stamp verse on front, mask, and stamp Femme
  4. Squeeze a little Glossy Accents in various places and cover with Penny Wise clear beads
  5. Thread silver "Believe" charm through purple fibers and glue to top
    Inside:
  1. Computer generate text on white tissue paper and attach to inside left page with Mod Podge
  2. Mask text and stamp two columns
    Left Slide:
    1. Cut cream cardstock to fit slide
    2. Tape torn decorative paper to cardstock, leaving some gaps
    3. Computer generate "LIFE" and "Journey" on vellum, tear edges and tape to piece
    4. Rub some portions with clear embossing ink and sprinkle with sticky embossing powder
    5. Heat til tacky
    6. Brush with Fashion Flakes gold leaf and wipe off excess
    Right Slide:
    1. Tape decorative paper to cardstock
    2. Computer generate photo on vellum, tear edges, outline with gold leafing pen and tape to decorative paper
    3. Computer generate tags and tape to paper.
    4. Top one piece with a glass slide and dip edges in melted, clear UTEE (I don't have a melting pot so I use an old electric fry pan
    5. Repeat with other piece. UTEE takes only a minute or two to harden and cool
    6. Rub edges of slides with gold Rub n' Buff and let dry
    7. Outline edges of slide compartments with gold leafing pen, squirt small circles of Glossy Accents on the back of the slides and press into place.

      Stamps: Large DragonflyFemme, Text, Column I, Column II (Time to Stamp)

Mask (R18H)

  1. Brayer white watercolor paper with yellow, then orange, magenta and purple pigment inks
  2. Cut 1/4" smaller than a folded black card and attach to card with purple eyelets
  3. Computer generate text on purple cardstock, layer to black cardstock and tape to card
  4. Stamp Mask on a scrap of brayered paper and trim closely
  5. Layer to black cardstock and trim
  6. Attach fibers to card with Glossy Accents, and attach mask using foam tape.
