CD Rose (R7H)
Take a CD (the kind you get in the mail from AOL) and cut the shape you want. See CD techniques
Spread clear embossing ink on the shiny side and silver emboss. Repeat 3-4 times
Ink the rose stamp with purple ink and heat the embossing powder once more til it's molten
Immediately press the stamp into the embossing and hold about 20-30 seconds. (NOTE: the CD surface is very slippery and you need to be careful not to let the stamp slide.)
Take size H purple card stock and attach a piece of silver metallic paper, leaving about 1/2" of card showing.
Trim another piece of purple card stock to follow the contours of your CD and attach
Glue on CD and cut the shank off an appropriate button and glue as shown on sample card
Attach colored yarn or fibers to edge of card and string pony beads.
Stamps: Hero Arts Artistic Rose
Purple Fantasy (R8H)
Cut piece of purple vellum to H card size, adding 1/2" to left side to wrap around to back of card
Stamp poetry with purple ink (I used pigment) onto vellum - let dry.
Trim the right edge with deckle scissors and emboss edge in silver
Tear the edge of size H dark purple card stock and edge in silver metallic marker
Use double sided tape to attach vellum to back of dark purple card
Stamp Paris Rose onto white shrink plastic and shrink. Dab with purple and pink chalk when cooled.
Attach silver skeleton leaves to vellum, and attach shrink plastic piece to cover edges of leaves
Make bow with thin silver cord and attach.

This is my favorite card and the scan didn't do it justice.
Old Fashion Hearts (R9H)
Take size H cream card stock and stamp poetry in gold.
Cut a rectangle of pretty patterned paper and layer on top of a piece of gold card stock
Attach to cream card
Stamp a heart on cream card stock and emboss in gold; stamp a few smaller hearts inside and emboss in gold
Cut out heart and attach to card with foam dots.
Stamps: Hero Arts Italian Poetry; I drew my own heart with an embossing pen, but there are lots of stamps to choose from.
