Key to My Heart (R1H)

  1. Fold an 8 1/2" x 11" cream card in half and emboss gold hearts randomly on the front (I didn't have a solid heart stamp, so I drew the hearts with an embossing pen and then embossed)
  2. Take a piece of vellum 8 1/2" x 5 1/2". Lay a reverse heart template* (one with the heart cut out) on the front, and stamp writing with clear embossing ink. Gold emboss. (Heart should be slanted slightly to the left as shown)
  3. Use the same technique to stamp writing in a heart shape on cream colored stock. Cut with deckle scissors.
  4. Wrap the heart with gold thread and string a key so it dangles on the front of the heart.
  5. Attach heart to front of card with foam dots, slanting slightly to the right.
  6. Punch two holes in the top of the vellum and front of the card and thread sheer cream ribbon through. Tie in bow.

    *Reverse Heart Template: Fold a piece of paper in half. Draw half a heart and cut out. Discard the cut out heart and use the paper the heart was cut from.

Love Heart (R2S)

  1. Cut 5" square of vellum and stamp hearts randomly in white ink. Clear emboss
  2. Sponge pink and purple ink over whole piece, rubbing to blend ink. Wipe piece with paper towel to remove ink from embossed hearts. Set aside.
  3. Take size S white card stock and stamp heart in center with clear embossing ink. Gold emboss
  4. Carefully cut around RIGHT half of heart, removing card stock
  5. Cut a piece of gold card stock with deckle scissors a little larger than right side of heart, and attach with double sided tape
  6. Stamp L O V E on white card stock with clear embossing ink and gold emboss (Stamp letters far enough apart to cut between, but don't cut until after embossing)
  7. Cut gold card stock a little larger than letters, and lilac card stock a little larger than gold. Layer all pieces and attach to front of card with double sided tape.
  8. Cut a piece of white card stock with deckle scissors to fit inside left section of card. (I closed the card and put a piece of white stock inside; then traced around heart. I then cut the piece a little smaller than my outline).
  9. Outline with gold gel pen, print or stamp verse, and glue to inside left side.
  10. Glue vellum to right side of inside.
  11. Glue a purchased pink ribbon rose to front of card

    Stamps: Hero Arts Friendship Letters, Foam Heart Stamp (unknown).

    Using the foam heart stamp on the front would not leave enough room for the letters, so I drew a suitably sized heart on scrap paper and cut it out. I then used the sheet the heart was cut from (not the heart itself) as a template and placed it on the front of my card, measuring for the center. I stamped the foam heart three times (bottom, right and left), and embossed after each stamping. I masked the part already embossed before stamping the next image.

Timeless Hearts (R3H)

  1. Stamp poetry on size H cream card stock in purple ink.
  2. Layer with a piece of purple card stock about 1/2" smaller
  3. Stamp clocks and keys in grey ink, and hearts and poetry in purple ink on cream card stock (I used computer generated clocks, keys and hearts, and stamped the poetry)
  4. Tear the edges, rub the edge of a purple ink pad along the edges and tap the ink pad lightly on the panel
  5. Attach to purple panel
  6. Cut a small piece of purple stock and attach at an angle as shown
  7. Cut a small piece of cream stock with deckle scissors and rub edges with purple ink pad
  8. Attach to purple piece.
  9. Glue a heart charm to the center of the cream piece.
  10. Tie a bow in thin purple ribbon and glue to the top of the charm.
  11. Tie a bow in sheer purple ribbon and glue to top of card

Love Booklet (R4)

  1. Cut two pieces of cream card stock 8" wide by 4" high. Fold in half. Cut a thin strip off the 4" edge of one folded piece so it will fit into the other folded piece.
  2. Cover:
    • Ink heart stamp with several shades of purple and pink and stamp in center of first page.
    • Rub pink and purple ink pads along the edges.
    • Glue a heart charm in the center and attach a small purple ribbon bow
  3. Page 2:
    • Print verse on decorative music printed paper and tape to inside front cover
    • Mask the text, ink a music note "roller" stamp with pink, and stamp a diagonal line across the page
    • Stipple the page with pink and purple ink
  4. Page 3:
    • Stamp a pink shadow stamp in center of page
    • Stamp Chinese Love in purple
    • Stipple page with pink and purple ink
  5. Page 4:
    • Stamp Paris Rose stamp using black dye ink
    • Color in with watercolor pencils and blend colors with blender pen
    • Stipple the page with pink and purple ink
  6. Page 5:
    • Print verse on flowered decorative paper and tape to page
    • Stamp small pink and purple hearts on page
  7. Page 6:
    • Print text on right side of paper
    • Ink rose stamp with pink and green and stamp on left side of paper
    • Stipple page with pink and purple ink
  8. Page 7:
    • Print verse on an angle on page
    • Stamp sun, moon and stars in various shades of pink and purple
    • Stipple page with pink and purple ink
  9. Leave last page blank for signature
  10. Punch two small holes in center of sheets about 3/4" down from top and up from bottom (that's how far the hole punch would reach)
  11. Thread thin gold cord from the inside and tie in bow along outside edge.

Romantic Rose (R5H)

  1. Stamp Paris Rose in blue ink on cream card stock.
  2. Cut with deckle scissors and layer to dark blue card stock
  3. Cut gold card stock 5"x3 3/4" and stamp with Italian poetry, using clear embossing ink. Gold emboss
  4. Stamp size H cream card stock with Italian Poetry using blue ink.
  5. Spray gold webbing on card
  6. Glue gold piece, then Paris Rose to cream card
  7. Glue thin blue ribbon rose to the top of the Paris Rose piece.
