Have and to Hold (R122S)

  1. Fold black cardstock to 5 1/4" square card
  2. Cut silver paper 1/4" smaller and attach
  3. Leaving 1/2" silver border, attach black and white decorative paper to right side of card
  4. Cut a small piece of black and white diamond paper, tear right edge, and attach to left side of card, overlapping paper.
  5. Print Congratulations on silver paper and attach to left side of card
  6. Cut black and white decorative paper into a tag shape, and print names using Scriptina font on vellum. Cut vellum the same shape as tag
  7. Punch a hole in the top of both pieces and tie sheer ribbon through
  8. Tie pearls through the hole in a knot
  9. Print "Have and to Hold" on small scrap, attach a silver jump ring to top, and attach to pearls
  10. Attach tag to card with foam tape

    Decorative Black and White Paper (Dyan Cross) - click here for directions. I printed on rough paper with a laser printer, and some of the ink came off, giving it a sanded appearance. I sprayed with matt acrylic spray to seal.

4 Couples Love (R123H)

  1. Open the 4 couples clip art images in a graphics program (or Word), and arrange to fit a 5 1/4" x 8 1/4" rectangle.
  2. Print on cream cardstock
  3. Using Casablanca Antique font at size 100, type letters L-O-V-E, filling with dark red.
  4. Use a grunge PSP brush to distress the letters, and print on white cardstock (or you can print the letters and use sandpaper to distress)
  5. Cut out letters, leaving a thin white border
  6. Attach letters to card with foam tape
  7. Tie a gingham ribbon into a knot and attach to center of card, wrapping ends around the back
  8. Layer the piece to a 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 folded black card
  9. Glue 4 flowers to the letter "O"

Baby Face (R124S)

  1. Cut black cardstock and fold to a 5 1/4" square card
  2. Attach layers as follows: 5" square cream with pink design, 4 5/16" square black, 4 1/4" square pink decorative paper, 3 1/2" square black, 3 3/8" square black and cream decorative.
  3. Trim photo to 2 1/2" square and attach to center with foam tape
  4. Tie dotted ribbon in a knot and glue above photo
  5. Create text and frame in graphics program and print on pink decorative paper
  6. Matt to black cardstock, trim closely and attach to card with foam tape

Birthday Wishes (R125S)

I used digital papers and a digital element for this card, but you can use purchased items.
  1. Resize the taupe/white patterned paper to 500 wide, and make a selection, 500 x 325 pixels.
  2. Draw a thin pink line toward the bottom of the paper.
  3. Make a selection 500 x 175 pixels from the striped paper, and draw a thin pink line toward the top of the paper.
  4. Line up the papers in your graphics program and print on heavy text weight paper.
  5. Attach pink grossgrain ribbon at the seam between the papers, and attach to a 5 1/4" square pink card
  6. Print your Birthday element on photo paper, cut out, and attach to card with foam tape
  7. Attach a small pink silk flower in the top corner with a bronze brad.

Your Love is the Music... (R126S)

"Traditional Directions":
  1. Print text on 8 1/2 x 11" text weight paper
  2. Tape striped paper to text paper and put back into the printer to print the text on the striped paper
  3. Cut music paper to 5 1/4" square
  4. Cut a "wave" at the top of the striped paper, making sure text is centered, and attach at the bottom of the music paper, making sure the entire piece is 5 1/4" square
  5. Outline with gold leafing pen
  6. Tie sheer ribbon in a knot at the bottom
  7. Attach piece to a folded 5 1/2" square tan card
  8. Print clip art, trim to 2 3/4" square and outline with gold leafing pen
  9. Mat to tan cardstock and attach to card on an angle with foam tape
  10. Cut a small tag from tan cardstock and attach a strip of music paper down the center
  11. Set a gold eyelet at the top and tie through a piece of lace and sheer ribbon
  12. Attach to card with foam tape
  13. Glue a heart charm on tag
Digital directions:
  1. Open the digital template (image shown to the left) in a graphics program, resize to 525 pixels square, and insert the music paper in the top portion and the striped paper in the bottom portion
  2. Type text in Aeolus font on striped portion
  3. Fill the wavy line on the template with a complimentary color
  4. Delete all other layers, merge visible layers, and print piece at 5 1/4" square
  5. Continue from number 5 above

Doves (R127S)

  1. Make a 5 1/2" square card from white shimmer cardstock
  2. Tear edges of green textured or mulberry paper and stitch around edges
  3. Attach green paper to card
  4. Tear white mulberry paper, then pink checked paper, and attach to card
  5. Print Doves and flowers on white textured cardstock, trim and attach to card with foam tape
  6. Glue 4 tiny pink buttons in corners of image
  7. Thread LOVE charm on thin pink ribbon, and glue ribbon and pearls to image
