Love in Any Language (R105H)

    Background Card
  1. Computer generate Greek collage using column and vase clip art and Isimi (Greek) text.
  2. Print on cream cardstock, trim to 5" x 8" and outline with gold Krylon pen.
  3. Tape to 8 1/2" x 5" piece of cream cardstock (this piece does not open like a card)
    Statue Booklet
  1. Computer generate the Lovers image on a piece of 4" x 8" cream cardstock (image is 4" x 4").
  2. Fold in half to make mini-card, and outline with gold pen.
    Inside Pocket
  1. On inside, tape a piece of 8" x 2" cream cardstock along the right and left sides and the bottom of mini-card, but leave the top open as a pocket.
  2. Tape a piece of brown decorative paper to this pocket.
  3. Computer generate "Love in Any Language" on vellum, tear and ink edges with brown ink and attach with vellum tape.
    Tags
  1. Cut four 1 3/4" x 3" tags from cream cardstock and cover with 4 shades of decorative paper.
  2. Outline with gold pen and insert gold eyelet in each.
  3. Computer generate "I Love You" in various languages on vellum, tear and ink the edges, and attach to tags with vellum tape. (I got the "love" list in different languages from Stamper's Versalog).
  4. Insert in pockets.
    Finishing
  1. Attach hand-made paper to three sides of the Lovers image and attach to card with E6000 glue.
  2. Glue one piece of metal clasp to card and the other piece to the Lovers piece. (My clasp was silver, so I painted it with the gold Krylon pen. Also, I tore the center from the hand-made paper and only attached the paper to the very edges of the Lovers piece. Otherwise, it raised the piece too high for the clasp)
