For my sister-in-law's in-law's 50th Anniversary (wow, that's a mouthful!)





The Children - Jay

  1. Tear a piece of striped decorative paper and ink the right edge
  2. Tear a piece of corrugated-look paper, ink the right edge, and attach to the striped paper
  3. Attach both pieces to a 12" x 12" piece of tan cardstock
  4. Print title on tan cardstock, tear and ink bottom edge and attach to top of layout
  5. Insert a copper brad between "children" and "Jay"
  6. Ink all edges of layout with Tea Dye distress ink
  7. Print three photos and attach on the back, collage-style
  8. Mat to sage green cardstock, trim closely, and attach to layout
  9. Glue three buttons to right side of layout
  10. Print names on vellum, tear and ink edges, and attach to purchased tag
  11. Attach tag to layout with foam tape

 

The Children - Kathy

  1. Tear a piece of striped decorative paper, ink the top edge, and attach to a 12" x 12" piece of tan cardstock
  2. Print title on tan cardstock, tear and ink bottom edge and attach to top of layout
  3. Attach a pink flower with a pink brad between "children" and "Kathy"
  4. Print three photos and mat to pink cardstock, inking edges (tear the bottom edge of the large mat)
  5. Attach photos to layout as shown
  6. Print names on vellum, tear and ink edges, and attach to purchased tag
  7. Attach tag to layout with foam tape
  8. Glue a large flower in the bottom right corner

 

The Children - Johnny

  1. Cut a piece of diamond paper 12" x 6"
  2. Tear two pieces of striped decorative paper and attach to top and bottom of diamond paper
  3. Attach all to a 12" x 12" piece of blue cardstock
  4. Print title on tan cardstock, tear and ink bottom edge and attach to top of layout
  5. Attach a blue brad between "children" and "Johnny"
  6. Print two photos and mat to blue cardstock; attach to layout as shown
  7. Print names on white cardstock, cut into a tag shape and ink edges
  8. Attach to layout, gluing a blue star button where the hole in the tag would be
  9. Glue three buttons to the bottom left of diamond paper

 

The Children - Maureen

  1. Cut a piece of diamond paper 5 1/2" x 6" and tear both edges
  2. Tear two pieces of striped decorative paper, ink edges, and attach to left and right of diamond paper
  3. Attach all to a 12" x 12" piece of cream cardstock
  4. Print title on blue cardstock, tear and ink bottom edge and attach to top of layout
  5. Attach a flower with a blue brad between "children" and "Maureen"
  6. Print two smaller photos and mat to one piece of white cardstock; attach to layout and draw "stitching" lines with blue pen
  7. Mat larger photo on white cardstock, draw stiching lines, and attach to layout
  8. Print names on white cardstock, cut into a tag shape, and draw stitching lines
  9. Attach one white flower over two blue flowers with a green brad, and attach tag to layout
  10. Attach a blue flower with a yellow brad to bottom of tag

 

Grandchildren - 1

  1. Print 3 photos and attach to a 12" x 3 1/2" strip of yellow decorative paper
  2. Attach to 12" x 5" strip of light blue cardstock, and tear top edge
  3. Attach piece to 12" x 12" piece of white textured cardstock
  4. Attach a 12" x 2" strip of yellow decorative paper to a 4 1/4" x 3" piece of dark blue cardstock; tape to layout as shown
  5. Computer generate Grandchildren word art on vellu, tear and ink edges, and attach to layout
  6. Tie a knot in each end of dark blue ribbon, and attach to center of layout
  7. In a graphics program, open a flower template, and fill each petal with decorative digital paper; print on white cardstock and cut out
  8. Attach to layout, and glue a large yellow button in the center

Grandchildren - 2

  1. Tear the edge of a 12" x 6 1/2" piece of yellow decorative paper and attach to 12" x 12" white textured cardstock
  2. Tear left edge of a 6 1/2" x 7 1/2" piece of light blue cardstock and attach to layout
  3. Print 3 photos and attach to a 5 1/8" x 11" piece of blue cardstock; attach to layout
  4. In a graphics program, create the text along a path, and print on yellow-striped wallpaper
  5. Cut in a circle, and attach to layout as shown, lifting edges of the other papers
  6. Tie a knot in each end of dark blue ribbon, and attach to layout
  7. In a graphics program, open a flower template, and fill each petal with decorative digital paper; print on white cardstock and cut out
  8. Attach to layout, and glue brown buttons in the centers
