Miss Rachel #1 and #2

    General Preparation:

  1. Print Alphabet background paper and Blocks paper on white cardstock and trim each to 6" x 6"
  2. In a graphics program, select a portion of three of the squares of the blocks paper so you have small rectangles the same color and texture as the blocks
  3. Duplicate enough squares to fill with your title letters. (Since my title was MISS RACHEL, I needed 3 yellow, 3 tan and 4 blue, making 10 blocks.)
  4. Using Gone Global font, print a letter into each color box
  5. Print all letters on white cardstock and trim closely
  6. Mount each letter to black cardstock and cut out, at various angles
  7. Print the punch tape labels that come with Michelle Coleman's set (Read to Me, Discover, Learn)
  8. Using Punch Tape font, type Learn several times across the page until the strip is 6" long
  9. Copy and paste 3 times and print all four strips on white cardstock
  10. Cut out all punch tape labels.

    Assemble Page 1:
  11. Attach first portion of title to top of Blocks background paper at different angles, using foam tape
  12. Mat the photo with black cardstock and attach to page
  13. Attach printed punch labels to bottom of page and a small piece to the top left corner
  14. Computer generate title in GF Halda font on vellum, ink edges with purple and attach to bottom with vellum tape.

    Assemble Page 2:
  15. Attach second portion of title to top of alphabet background paper at different angles, using foam tape
  16. Tape photo to page and attach black Learn punch tape label strips on top, overlapping at edges to make a frame.

Graduation Day

  1. Cut a 6x6" square of embossed vellum paper and attach to 6x6" cream cardstock square
  2. Outline with gold leafing pen
  3. Cut a rectangle of cream textured wallpaper and attach at an angle
  4. Cut a rectangle of flowered decorative paper and mount to pink cardstock
  5. Tape to layout
  6. Print photograph and attach to layout with gold picture corners
  7. Glue a gold skeleton leaf to the bottom right corner
  8. Sponge Old Paper Distress Ink over lace and glue to left side of layout

I didn't have a gold skeleton leaf so I "painted" a silver one with the gold leafing pen. Also, I bought white photo corners and painted them gold as well.
