Southwest Thanks (S23Q)

  1. Computer generate the word "You" in Oklahoma font on beige cardstock
  2. Trim, and fold to 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" with text at bottom right corner
  3. Cut a piece of raffia, tie in a bow and tape to a piece of a 5 1/2" x 2 1/2" decorative paper, taping edges on the back
  4. Tape piece to top of card
  5. Cut a 5 1/2" x 1 1/2" strip of turquoise card stock, tear bottom and tape to card
  6. Cut three small rectangles of decorative paper and layer to slightly larger rectangles of turquoise cardstock
  7. Tape to turquoise strip as shown
  8. Tape tag letters to card and mark where eyelet goes - remove letters
  9. Punch holes for eyelets; then attach letters with silver eyelets
  10. Ink edges of card with distress ink.

Coyote Thanks (S24Q)

  1. Computer generate the word "Thanks" several times and print on 8 1/2" x 4 1/4" oatmeal paper. Fold in half to make card
  2. Tear decorative paper, ink the top edge with turquoise ink and attach to card with copper eyelets
  3. Computer generate two more "Thanks" on an oatmeal scrap, tear and ink edges of one and attach to card with copper eyelet. (Set other aside for shaker box)
  4. Use metallic turquoise marker to color silver coyote charm and attach with E6000 glue
  5. Shaker Box:
    1. Need turquoise slide mount and a solid turquoise back piece (made by Loersch Corp)
    2. Cut a small piece of acetate and attach to the inside of the slide mount piece with double sided tape
    3. Trim "Thanks" to fit in window and tape onto the solid back piece
    4. Lay slide mount face down and put double sided foam tape all around edges, making sure there are no gaps (I had to trim the width of the tape)
    5. Pour in a small amount of Penny Wise Arts clear beads
    6. Remove the backing from the foam tape and carefully place the slide back on top. Press to be sure all edges are secure
  6. Attach shaker box to card with foam tape

Timeless (S25H)

  1. Fold 8 1/2" x 11" oatmeal card in half and ink edges with Tea Dye Distress Ink. Set aside.
  2. Computer generate photo on white cardstock, and trim height to 4 5/8".
  3. Cut 5 - 1 1/4" strips from photo, starting at one end, and attach to a 8" x 5" piece of rust cardstock, evenly spaced.
  4. Attach rust cardstock to oatmeal card with foam tape.
  5. Attach Sarah Heidt "Timeless" Script Diecut to top of photo with glue stick.
  6. Attach three brown Featherweight Mosaic Tiles to bottom left of photo.
  7. Heat white fun foam and impress with Gecko stamp.
  8. Rub with copper inkpad, then copper pearl-ex.
  9. Spray with acrylic sealer.
  10. Attach to bottom right of card with copper eyelets.

Southwest Bears (S26Q)

  1. Fold a 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 piece of turquoise card stock in half
  2. Stamp two rows of Small Weave, on each side, in black ink
  3. Cut a piece of black cardstock 2 1/2" wide and attach to card
  4. Cut rust cardstock 2 1/8" wide and attach
  5. Glue a strip of raffia down the center of the rust piece
  6. Stamp 3 spirit bears in black on rust cardstock
  7. Cut in squares and mat each to black cardstock
  8. Mat one piece to turquoise cardstock
  9. Attach turquoise-matted piece in the center with foam tape, and the other pieces with double-sided tape
  10. Glue a small feather and turquoise stone to the center bear.

Copper Pot (S27Q)

  1. Stamp pot on black cardstock with clear embossing ink and copper emboss
  2. Layer to copper, then black cardstock
  3. Attach a piece of copper cardstock 4" x 5 1/4" to a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" black card
  4. Attach a piece of black Magic Mesh to the right side (I didn't have black so I sponged regular drywall tape with black Staz-On ink)
  5. Attach copper pot to card with foam tape
  6. Attach two black brads at top left

Embossed Pot (S28Q)

  1. Fold brown cardstock to a 5 1/2" x 4 1/2" card.
  2. Stamp top half with southwest sun in copper ink and heat set
  3. Cut turquoise cardstock to fit bottom half of card and attach
  4. Tape striped ribbon to cover the top of the turquoise piece
  5. Sponge brown inks (Chestnut, and Walnut Stain Distress Ink) on a 2 1/4" square of cardboard
  6. Sprinkle with clear embossing powder and heat
  7. Rub with clear embossing ink and more powder
  8. Dab with a little turquoise ink, and clear emboss
  9. Ink the pot stamp with copper metallic
  10. Reheat the tile until the embossing powder is liquid and carefully stamp onto the tile. Hold for a few seconds until the embossing powder sets
  11. Rub the edges with clear embossing ink and copper emboss
  12. Spray tile with gloss acrylic sealer
  13. Tape tile to turquoise cardstock, then to light blue cardstock - tear the bottom of the light blue
  14. Ink bottom of light blue, and all around edges of card with copper ink
  15. Attach piece to card with foam tape

Wolves (S29Q)

  1. Attach blue decorative paper (I used wallpaper) to a 5 1/2" x 4 1/2" card
  2. Tear edges of brown textured paper from Provocraft
  3. Insert 4 blue eyelets in bottom of brown paper
  4. Insert string up from the bottom on the right side and tie into a knot. Insert the other end up from the bottom into the second eyelet from the right. Repeat with the other two eyelets. Tie string in the center into a knot
  5. Attach brown paper to card with E6000 glue (double-sided tape doesn't hold well)
  6. Print wolves on parchment, tear sides and ink edges
  7. Matt to blue paper and attach to brown textured paper with foam tape
  8. Glue feather to top right
