Wolf (Quick) (S16Q)

  1. Computer generate wolf onto textured cardstock and layer to a piece of Faux Suede paper
  2. Punch holes in the top and bottom and thread raffia through, tying in a knot
  3. Tear the same cardstock the wolf was printed on and rub the edges with brown ink
  4. Tape to a folded quarter-size tan card
  5. Stamp India design in brown ink on the card
  6. Attach the wolf with foam tape

Southwest Blanket (S17Q)

  1. Tear turquoise, tan and rust card stock and tape to a quarter-size folded tan card
  2. Run card through the printer, computer generating the blanket design
  3. Rub the bottom corner with clear embossing ink and copper emboss. Repeat 3 times
  4. Ink the gecko with black Memories ink and set aside.
  5. Heat the ink once more, and stamp, waiting until the embossing powder hardens a little before removing the stamp
  6. Add two copper eyelets to the left edge and thread raffia through, tying in a knot

Copper Pot (S18Q)

  1. Stamp lizard in clear embossing ink on folded quarter-size blue card and clear emboss
  2. Tape a torn piece of suede paper (see Faux Suede for directions) to a torn piece of crimped cream paper and tape to card
  3. Stamp pot on rust cardstock with clear embossing ink and clear emboss; trim closely
  4. LIGHTLY rub some Rub n Buff over the pot in a circular motion. Let your finger just graze the surface. If you rub too much, your image may blend into the background. You do want some of the rust background to show through
  5. Layer to a piece of crimped cream cardstock, trim closely and attach to card with foam tape

Black Southwest Pot (S19Q)

  1. Layer card pieces as follows: crimped rust piece to black, to rust, to a folded quarter-size black card
  2. Stamp pot in clear embossing ink on black cardstock and clear emboss
  3. LIGHTLY rub some Rub n Buff over the pot in a circular motion. Let your finger just graze the surface. If you rub too much, your image may blend into the background. You do want some of the black background to show through
  4. Tear edges and attach to card with foam tape

Southwest Wolf (S20Q)

  1. Computer generate wolf on Faux Suede paper
  2. Tear edges and tape to turquoise cardstock
  3. Fold turquoise cardstock to 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" card and attach decorative paper that has been cut 1/4" smaller
  4. Attach wolf piece to card with foam tape
  5. Glue on feather

Antelope (S21Q)

  1. Tear three strips of decorative paper as shown and tape to folded 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" dark red card
  2. Computer generate antelope on dark yellow cardstock and mat to dark red cardstock
  3. Set blue eyelets in each corner, catching the ends of the raffia
  4. Tie top of raffia in a knot
  5. Attach to card with foam tape

Cave Painting (S22H*)

  1. Prepare several sheets of paper with a faux suede background, one on a brown paper bag and the other on cream card stock
  2. Computer generate deer image on the brown paper bag piece, tear the edges, and rub with brown ink pad
  3. Tear edges of other suede paper and stamp southwest pots using tan ink. Cut slits for deer image, slide paper in, and tape on the reverse so deer doesn't slip
  4. Computer generate cave painting images on cream card.
  5. Tape cream card to size H black card, then attach suede piece with foam dots.
  6. Use E6000 glue to attach arrowhead charm and turquoise nugget.
