Success is a Journey (T10H*)

  1. Trim printed vellum to fit the front of an 8 1/2" x 5" cream card
  2. Stamp opposite corners with corner stamp using clear embossing ink, and copper emboss
  3. Cut blue ribbon a little wider than the card and glue to front of vellum, wrapping ends around to the back
  4. Attach vellum to card with copper eyelets in each corner
  5. Print "Journey" in Wanderer Alphabet on cream cardstock and cut out each letter
  6. Attach to ribbon with foam tape, alternating angles of letters
  7. Computer generate "Success is a.." and "not a destination" in Aeolus font on plain vellum
  8. Tear edges and stipple with Tea Dye Distress Ink
  9. Attach to card with vellum tape
  10. Glue a copper metal embellishment to the bottom of the card.

World Traveler (T8H)

  1. Computer generate travel collage on white card.
  2. Using the grid technique sponge blue, yellow, orange and brown inks on card.
  3. Stamp writing and cancelled postage
  4. Cut in tag shape, layer to medium blue card tag and punch hole in top
  5. Cut a small tag from white card, sponge with blue ink and stamp with Paris stamp. Rub darker blue ink along edges
  6. Cut a mini tag from white card, sponge with yellow-orange ink and stamp with Italy stamp. Rub darker ink along edges
  7. Thread blue ribbon and raffia through large tag and tie in knot. Thread opposite ends through the two small tags and tie in knot.
  8. Stamp postal stamps on size H yellow-orange card, using ink just a shade darker than the card.
  9. Attach large tag and small tag to card with foam dots and leave mini tag loose.

Italy Template (T9Q)

  1. Cut 5 squares from olive stock (3 - 1 5/8" square, 1 - 3 3/8" x 2 1/4", and 1 - 1 3/8" x 2 1/4")
  2. Tape to a 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" folded sage card
  3. Cut three small squares (1 1/2") from travel design decorative paper and tape to top squares
  4. Computer generate "Italia" in green text on yellow vellum
  5. Tear edges, rub with brown inkpad and attach to bottom left rectangle with vellum tape
  6. Stamp Gondola with black ink on sage cardstock
  7. Rub edges with olive inkpad and attach to largest rectangle with foam tape
  8. Thread two clay buttons with olive embroidery thread, tie in knot and glue to top right square

Spain Tag

  1. Cut a 4 1/2 x 8 1/2" tag from speckled sage paper
  2. Sponge edges with brown ink and stipple tag with the same ink
  3. Tear decorative travel paper and attach to top right portion of tag
  4. Tear another small piece of paper and attach to bottom left corner
  5. Sponge edges of paper with brown ink, and outline with gold leafing pen
  6. Sponge matador die cut with olive and brown ink and glue to card
  7. Cut scrabble letters from decorative paper, tape to small squares of olive card stock, and attach to tag with foam tape
  8. Attach a small piece of self-stick green Magic Mesh to bottom of card
  9. Layer a postage stamp to torn olive card stock and tape to tag
  10. Glue an amber glass nugget to bottom
  11. Punch a hole in the top of tag and thread matching fibers (from Fibers by the Yard) through

Journal Cover (T9H*)

  1. Cut a piece of corrugated olive paper to fit front of journal and outline with gold leafing pen. Tape or glue to the journal
  2. Ink a "stars" texture plate with clear embossing ink and stamp on red handmade paper
  3. Gold emboss and tape to olive card
  4. Tear a piece of white handmade paper and tape to the bottom of the corrgated piece
  5. Stamp word stamps on olive card stock with black Memories ink
  6. Trim each piece, cutting some on unusual angles
  7. Tape to handmade gold paper and attach to journal cover with foam tape
  8. Cut a strip of beige handmade paper and tape to the left edge of the cover
  9. Tape a postage stamp to a small square of olive card stock, and then to a small tag cut from the beige handmade paper
  10. Punch a hole in the top of the tag, thread through some fiber, and attach the fiber to the edge of the cover with Glossy Accents
  11. Glue a small decorated metal piece to the front, wedging underneath two of the word pieces

Chartres Cathedral (T10Q)

  1. Fold a forest green card to 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" and stamp postage cancellations in gold around edges
  2. Tape 4 3/4" x 3 5/8" tan cardstock to card, and 4 1/2" x 3 3/8" oatmeal cardstock to tan
  3. Cut twenty 1/2" squares from forest green cardstock and glue around edges of oatmeal cardstock
  4. Computer generate Cathedral on oatmeal cardstock, using green ink
  5. Trim piece to 3 11/16" x 2 1/2" and layer to 3 13/16" x 2 5/8" piece of tan cardstock
  6. Attach to card with foam tape

Plane Postage (T12Q)

  1. Following the faux digital postage tutorial, create four postage stamps using photos of vintage planes
  2. Keep a small black border on the image, and print on white cardstock
  3. Trim, leaving the black border on the stamps
  4. Print map background on beige cardstock and trim to 5 1/4" x 4"
  5. Attach to folded 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" navy card with terra cotta eyelets
  6. Attach stamps to yellow cardstock, tilting the bottom right stamp
  7. Layer to light blue, then dark blue cardstock, tearing the bottom of each
  8. Attach piece to card with foam tape
