Dragonfly Postage (T1H)

  1. Take size H medium blue card stock and stamp small dragonflies using clear embossing ink
  2. When dry, dust with chalk to bring out image
  3. Use postage template and sponge blue, pink and purple ink on white card stock
  4. Leaving template in place, stamp dragonflies as shown on sample card
  5. Layer postage to lilac card stock, and then to light blue card stock that has been cut with deckle scissors. (I cut a few small strips of blue card stock and inserted between lilac and light blue card stock before attaching.
  6. Attach dragonfly postage piece to blue card in position shown

Paris (T2H*)

  1. Take size H white card stock and stamp map, Eiffle Towers and poetry in medium blue ink. (I used my computer graphics program and printed the map and towers from clip art; then stamped the poetry)
  2. Stipple with various colors of ink all over card
  3. Print the word Paris using dark blue ink
  4. Prepare shrink plastic Paris Rose on transparent plastic and emboss edges in silver
  5. I happened to have a postage stamp from Paris, so I attached that, along with the shrink plastic piece to the card
  6. Tie a bow from sheer rainbow ribbon and glue as shown.

Another Place (T3H)

  1. Using green, purple, tan and rose inks or watercolors, brush the background of size H light tan card stock. (Water will make paper curl so press between heavy book overnight)
  2. Stamp postage marks in gold and emboss. Stamp several other postage marks in green and purple ink.
  3. Stamp Another Place onto parchment and gold emboss.
  4. Stamp Paris and China stamps onto med. blue card stock and gold emboss
  5. Tear edges of parchment paper, and attach to piece of med. blue card stock with torn edges.
  6. Glue three pieces onto card as shown
  7. Take small piece of gold Sculpey, flatten with hands, and stamp International Cancel Post into clay. Bake as instructed
  8. Tie coordinating ribbon or yarn around top of card, and attach clay piece with E6000 adhesive on top of the yard "tails" as shown

Paris Travel (T4H)

  1. Computer generate a picture of the Eiffel Tower in sepia (brownish color)
  2. Layer the picture to a piece of black card stock, then tan card stock, and set aside.
  3. Stamp the letters T R A V E L in brown ink on tan card stock and cut out.
  4. Put a small piece of black card stock through the corrugator and attach it to a piece of tan card stock.
  5. Attach letters in random fashion and set aside.
  6. Take a size H rust card stock and stamp Another Place and Paris postage in brown ink.
  7. Use a brown stamp pad to brush the edges of the card.
  8. Attach the Eiffel Tower piece to the top left of the card, and the Travel piece to the bottom right
  9. Take a small piece of gold Sculpey clay, press the postage cancellation stamp into it and bake.
  10. Glue clay piece to bottom of card with E6000.

Merci (T5S)

  1. Computer generate Eiffel Tower images and text (Merci) and print on white card
  2. Layer to red, then blue square card.
  3. Brush all Eiffel Towers with glitter, and brush visible red card with glitter
  4. Using E6000 glue, attach red, blue and clear rhinestones
  5. Tie a thin red cord to the edge

    The sparkle from the glitter and rhinestones doesn't show well in the scan

Pisa tag (T6H)

  1. Computer generate Pisa tower on beige card, and stipple and sponge tan, brown, copper and purple inks over top
  2. Cut into tag shape (3" x 6"). Layer to dark purple card and punch hole in top
  3. Thread purple ribbon and raffia through top hole
  4. Color size H beige card with same inks
  5. Stamp postage and writing with purple ink in random fashion
  6. Attach tower to card with foam dots
  7. Soften small piece of copper Sculpey, stamp with cancellation and bake according to directions
  8. Glue clay to card with E6000 glue, tucking the ends of the tag ribbons underneath.

Paris Domino (T7H*)

  1. Layer a black card to a gold card to a size H rust card, leaving about 1/2" showing on all sides
  2. Insert a copper eyelet in each corner of the black card
  3. Stamp Paris Rose with black memories ink on the front of a piece of acetate
  4. Mix white Elmer's glue and pearl-ex powder (I mixed gold, silver and copper), and using a paint brush, "paint" mixture on the BACK of the acetate. Let dry
  5. Trim acetate and tape to black card
  6. Attach a gold peel-off butterfly
  7. Domino:
    1. Sponge copper pigment ink on domino and clear emboss
    2. Print Eiffel Tower on tissue paper (see Tissue Stamp Technique) and attach to domino with Mod Podge.
    3. Stamp writing over Tower
    4. Outline with gold Krylon pen and dab small dots of gold in various places on domino
    5. Spray with several coats of sealer
    6. When dry, glue to card with E6000 glue

    This card did not scan well. The gold layer is very shiny and came out rather dark, and the shine of the Pearl-ex powders does not show up.
